Having to make that ‘difficult’ decision to help your pet cross over?

I’m not a veterinarian but here’s what I just shared with a friend and typical of my response when someone asks me how to know when it’s ‘time’…

Once all pain meds/steroids stop working and he begins to NOT enjoy the normal things he loves, that’s when you can start helping him cross.

That’s just my opinion.

What you want to avoid is letting it get SO BAD that you know he’s in extreme pain and he physically can’t eat or do typical ‘dog’ things…catch it before he gets there and stay with him during the med administration.

It’s difficult but all they want is to be near their loved ones, even during their final moments. ❤️ (hugs)

Our FREE vaccination clinic is open every Monday from 11-1pm and 6-8pm. We offer free vaccinations, dewormer ($3), flea treatment ($7), and microchipping for ($15). Remember me posting a while back about one of our clients that needed immediate help with their dog because they were going to be hospitalized and not able to continue care for the dog?

Here’s an update…

Ms. Molly adopted her and she’s been an awesome new mommy. The newbie gets along well with her two brothers and has fit in perfectly in the household. I still groom her and today Molly brought all 3 into the Muncie Delaware County Senior Center for nail trims.

We love a happy ending and in this case, a new beginning 🐾💚🐾
