Bonnie, Mabel, Marvel, Mabel and Charlie staying cool this morning while still having a blast together 💕

✨ How to keep your dog cool on walks!

- Go for early walks (before midday)
- Take cool water with you and a bowl to drink from
- Allow small drinks of water regularly rather than one big drink 💧
- Look for shaded paths 🌳
- Stay on the grass where possible - it's usually much cooler than the concrete paths/pavements, especially in the morning!
- Take regular breaks and let your dog relax in some shade before setting off again 🐾
- Keep a steady pace and limit off lead playing and running around with friends - encourage calm behaviour!
- Watch for panting and drooling, you may need to cut the walk short if your dog seems distressed!
- if you're driving to walk your dog, park in a shady place so your car doesn't get too hot for your drive home 🚗

Cool vests and jackets can help but you must monitor them to make sure they're not drying off and trapping heat in, make sure to wet them regularly throughout your walk.

If your dog is old or very young or a Brachycephalic breed such as a Pug/French Bulldog/Bulldog type, avoid walking in these hot temperatures and stick to games and puzzles in the house and garden instead 💜

It's been a busy week for us at Amble and Bounce, but we wouldn't have it any other way! 💜

Mabel, Stevie, Nelson, Albus, Nellie, Charlie and Banjo all joined the fun with us this Friday! 🥰

One of our original Amble and Bouncers, Bailey, came out with Little Mabel today 💕 Bailey is super busy these days with all kinds of important Spaniel business, but it's always a pleasure to see him when we do 💜

To mark the end of the week, we had the pleasure of checking in on newbie Hester! 🥹

Hester is a very sweet 2 year old Spaniel cross Irish Terrier and she is just the softest girl! Hester loves her ball, and loves to show off how clever she is with all her tricks! 🥰

Can't wait for the next time, Hester! 💜

A fabulous Thursday spent with your lovely pups 🫶🏻😍

Nellie and Mabel were reunited having not seen each other for a few weeks - Nellie was so excited to see her friend 🥹💜

Mabel, Fin and Stevie had a good run around together in a secure paddock 🥰

This afternoon little Marvel had a wander around Rimrose Valley to stretch his legs 🐾

And little Poki had a stroll up to the canal with Mabel - he's becoming much more comfortable with her now and will happily trot next to her and pose for pics! 😊

Flippy has recently celebrated his birthday! 🎉🎂

Flip has been with us since a teeny tiny pup, and we've watched him grow into such a sweet boy 💜 we hope he had a smashing day and we know he was spoilt rotten! 🤣💕
