Meet MEENA, Glynn County Animal Services' longest resident.

MEENA came to the shelter over a year ago with 5 other cats, due to their owner passing away. While all the others have left the shelter, MEENA remains.
If you have been into the cat room in the last year you likely have not seen her, as she is always hiding. She is absolutely terrified of any and everything. She stays inside of the same hut every day hiding under a bed. The friend of her deceased owner stated MEENA had always been this way and was even this way with her human mom.

MEENA does not deserve to live her life in the shelter. While we understand she would need an extremely patient and understanding adopter, we know someone is out there for her, and will appreciate her just the way she is.

MEENA is roughly 6-8 years old, spayed, up to date on shots and currently on flea prevention. She has been indoors all of her life and will need to remain indoors only. She doesn't take up much space and always uses the litter box that is near, she does come out at night when no one is at the shelter.

Please come adopt at 190 Carl Alexander Way Brunswick GA 31525

Bonita was adopted in 2016. However, she was recently picked up by Glynn County Animal Services as a stray. Sadly, the adopter has never reclaimed her. Bonita used to stay in the office with staff, as she was so easygoing. She rarely barks and is completely house-trained (uses puppy pads if necessary).

Bonita is now 10 years old, and we believe she will be perfect for someone wanting a low-maintenance companion. This precious pup deserves a loving home and stability. Will it be with you? Come and meet her yourself.

We are open 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday.
