If you want to register early for the Stink Eye event March 5-7 2026 for a hotel room, you can call the Hofsas House Hotel to reserve a room. There is a 2 night minimum for the discounted rate on the rooms. Call; 831-624-2745. Be sure to mention you are with WTCares. The hotel has agreed to extend their discounted rate for 2 days before the actual event however, you need to registered for the events actual days, otherwise you will be charged full price for the room. You can also add those two days on to the end of the event if you want to stay longer.

Carmel is a small sea side town that is only 1 square mile in size. Within that scope there are a lot of mom and pop stores, eateries, and art shops. Of course, your welshies are welcome in almost every store you visit. Many of the shop owners always have water and treats for those that visit their shops. Please always carry your roll of "Doggy P**p Bags" to pick up after your dog. We provide a roll of p**p bags you will find in your gift bag. Carmel is a very dog friendly city.

Friday morning we always start the day off by taking all the Welsh Terriers down to the beach, weather permitting. We usually go to breakfast first and then to the beach at 10:00 AM. They love to run and chase each other while down there. The beach will have many other dogs there off leash also. Please make sure your dog is dog friendly with other dogs.
