Captain here would like to volunteer to be the poster child for the suggestion!

This 4/5 month old black lab boy is the total package! He's fun, playful, sweet loving, smart and naturally, in true lab fashion... a little derpy 🙊

Hes a happy go lucky boy, loves everyone he's met, loves other dogs, and does well with dog savvy cats ❤️

Captain would fit into just about any home setting, as long as he was given adequate options to burn off some energy, because, again he's a black lab and if you know, you know, am I right?? 😆

Ms. Marilyn is still waiting for her forever family to find her, and let me just say, when they finally come forward, they will NOT be sorry!

This girl is a complete and total love bug! Around 6/7 months old, a curr mix, she is a good size dog, has been doing great with potty training and has loved everyone and everything she has met so far!

Her only 'downfall'? She thinks she's a lap dog. lol Give her a lap to sit in or another dog to snuggle with and she's a happy girl! If neither are around, she will find a sunny spot to lounge.

Before & After: Meet Sir Loin!

This poor little guy was found abandoned near a prison—ribs showing, hungry, scared, and all alone. He looked like he could’ve used a good steak… so we gave him the name Sir Loin!

Fast forward to now, and just LOOK at him thriving in his foster home! Sir Loin is sweet, clever, full of energy, and packed with personality. He’s curious, playful, and always up for a snuggle after a good zoomie session.

Sir Loin is looking for a loving home that appreciates a fun-loving, active, and affectionate companion who’s ready to learn and grow with you!

Good Morning everyone, happy Friday! We hope you caught Jelly Bean on the news this morning, what an absolute doll!

The sun is shining and I heard it's supposed to hit 60 today! Woo hoo! Finally! Some great weather to get out and walk and adventure with those pups!

We are coming to yall this morning asking for help again. Our food supply is getting low, and we need to re stock!

We do have a rescue account with Purina, so we are Able to get a discount when purchasing directly from them. We would like to try to raise 800.00 to go towards food for our babes in Florida we have several dogs in our care and and really appreciate the help keeping things going. With adoptions being slower, we don't have the funds coming in like we used to. We hate asking for help, but if it helps us help them, we will swallow our pride and ask!

If you are able to make a donation of any size we greatly appreciate it! We also appreciate all the shares and word of mouth sharing you do!

Who's ready for a feel good post to start the day??

A few of you may have noticed that after a long time, Slater is no longer on our website and we haven't been posting him.

Well that's because our boy got a home!! And not just any home, the PERFECT home. One of those meant to be adoptions that is just too beautiful of a story not to share with yall because we know Slater had worked his way into many hearts! ❤️

Back in February we had an event at the Augusta tractor supply; while there, we met a wonderful lady named Virginia. She visited with us, gushed over one of the puppies (Romeo) and told us all about her beautiful boy, Rigsby. Rigsby had alot of medical things and allergies going on, so as much as Virginia would have loved to adopt, she knew it wasn't feasible with Rigsby.

Virigina kept in touch with us, she has sent donations and just become a common name among us. To thank her for her support and donations, we had sent her a little NFR dog stuffy, by the time she received it, she messaged to let us know that it was perfect timing. They had lost Rigsby a few days prior 💔

After a little bit, Virginia started asking about Slater, but was having a difficult time getting her head and heart on the same page about another dog. I explained to her that I understood completely, as does anyone who’s lost a dog. When the time is right, and it’s meant to be, Rigsby will paw pick the right pup for them.

A week or so went by, Slater was supposed to have had a meet and greet but the person changed their mind when they were told he may have accidents inside still...

Last Friday morning as I was telling Slater’s foster about the adopter changing their mind, I got a message from Virginia. She was fully aware he may still have a few accidents and may be a bit shy at first. But Virginia and her husband were OK with that. They couldn't get him off their minds and just knew they had to have him. We went to work setting it up, and later that afternoon Virginia and her husband made the trip to meet up with Judy (Slater’s foster mom) and that was all it took.

Slater is home ❤️( and accident free!! 😉 )

He will never replace Rigsby, but he will certainly help filling that void and help heal hearts 💕

Thank you Virginia, for giving our boy the chance he so desperately deserved ❤️ and thank you Judy for fostering him and loving him like your own for the few months you had him!

Miss Jelly Bean would like you all to know she has arrived and she is looking for a family!

This girl hit the ground with all 4 paws running off transport and has been taking it all in since she got here!

At 4/5 months old, this sheppy mix girl s so full of love she could just burst! She loves everyone, other dogs, cats, adults, older kids and loooves little kids! Their little hands and faces always have some tastey remnants left over from their snacks and she has no problem helping them clean up ;)

She loves the camp life and has been enjoying following running behind the 4 wheeler with her fur foster sibblings and man can this girl run!

Jelly bean does great on a leash, off leash sometimes she gets a bit of a squirrel brain and her recall isn't the strongest just yet but with time, training and patience, we think she'll be just fine! There's just so many new smells and things to take in here, she wants to experience it all!

Jelly Bean will also be making her big TV debut with WABI TV5 this Friday! So make sure you tune in! This girl is way too sweet to be

Meet Milo!🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Milo is a super sweet, friendly little guy who absolutely loves people—he greets everyone with tail wags and kisses! He gets along well with other dogs with proper introductions, and he’s been making great progress on leash walks. Milo lives for outdoor adventures and is almost fully potty trained—he’ll head to the door when he needs to go, so just keep an eye out!

This handsome pup is about 5 months old, weighs 16 pounds, and is 100% adorable. He’s very food motivated, which makes training a breeze. A few puppy classes will be both fun and beneficial for you and Milo—he’s wicked smart! He’s great with kids, though like any pup, he’s got sharp little puppy teeth and nails. Don’t worry, those “shark teeth” will fall out as he grows (you might even find one as a keepsake!).

Milo is looking for a loving home where he can continue to learn, play, and snuggle. If you’re ready for endless tail wags and puppy kisses, Milo might just be your guy!

He’s working hard on his potty training and learning how to be the best boy ever—and he’s well on his way!

Foster Pup Spotlight: Sir Loin 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Meet Sir Loin, one of our animated and entertaining foster pups! According to his foster mom, Tammi, this little guy is full of personality and puppy charm.

Sir Loin is incredibly playful—he adores his stuffed alligator, bones, and anything that rolls! He’s also gets the “zoomies” and his silly antics are sure to keep you smiling.

House training is coming along nicely. While he’s doing great, he still needs consistency and reminders—he’s young, after all! If left too long without a potty break, he may have an accident, but he’s learning quickly.

Sir Loin is currently living with two cats. He’s respectful of the more assertive one, but still working on his impulse control with the shy cat who likes to run. For now, we’d recommend only dog-savvy cats in his future home, but he’s improving every day!!

He’s a smart cookie—he mastered “sit” in just two days and has already figured out how to climb gates and open doors. (Yes, really!) Sir Loin is always thinking and loves to be mentally engaged.

He tolerates his crate during the day when the house is empty, but he prefers to sleep near his humans and canine foster siblings at night.

Speaking of expressing himself—Sir Loin is a talker! He may sound like he’s growling, but it’s just his quirky way of communicating.

He’s becoming more affectionate with the other dogs in the home and is learning to enjoy snuggling up with them. While he’d be perfectly happy as a solo pup, he’d also love having doggy friends in his forever home.

Sir Loin is sweet, clever, full of energy, and packed with personality. He’s looking for a loving home that appreciates a fun-loving, active, and affectionate companion who’s ready to learn and grow with you!
