A few weeks ago, we celebrated a very special day at Halleck Creek Ranch, our 48th birthday!

The day was made even more meaningful as we also honored the birthday of Nancy, one of our longest-serving and most beloved volunteers. We were thrilled to welcome Joyce Goldfield, one of HCR’s original founders, and had a surprise visit from Oona, which brought even more joy to the celebration.

It was a heartwarming day filled with connection, gratitude, and community, a day we’ll all remember fondly!

Our herd of 31 therapy horses is powered by your generosity. 🐴💛

These incredible animals carry more than riders , they carry hope, healing, and connection. But the cost of their care has nearly doubled in recent years. It now takes $5,000 a year to provide basic care for just one horse… and we have 31!

This spring, we’re raising $65,000 to give our herd the exceptional care they deserve, from high-quality hay and hoof trims to routine vet visits.
