Attention!
I’m looking for a “temporary” full time assistant horse trainer for our Reining and Working Cow Horse Operation. Someone who can work for me until my current assistant is capable of returning to work. She has suffered an injury and is temporarily out of commission. This position is ideal for someone who is interested having a paid internship to learn horse training. They must be willing to put in long days in order to learn the skills necessary to make a living in the horse industry.
The position consists of daily chores (caring for horses/cattle/bison, cleaning stalls, keeping the barn clean, saddling horses for me, starting colts, as well as, learning to maintaining some of the finished competition horses. Instruction will be given regularly for all aspects of the training program.
The applicant must be 18 years or older and have their own transportation.
