A very pretty little lady.

My second litter of lesser tenrec. These weren't so lucky as the first, who have a wonderful mama. I caught these cuties...

My second litter of lesser tenrec. These weren't so lucky as the first, who have a wonderful mama. I caught these cuties' mama at the start of a murderous rampage and had to pull them to hand feed at less than 24 hours old. There are 4 of them, going strong at almost 4 weeks old ( #4 wasn't out for the picture). The first 2-1/2 weeks I had to feed about every 2 hours, around the clock. That was exhausting but worth it. They are the sweetest little things and now they lap from a dish and nibble at softened kibble mg

We unfortunately are not able to have a Tulsa Hedgehog Show at the usual location this fall because the venue will not be available. If anyone in the region (Roughly Tulsa, Springfield, Wichita, Kansas City) knows of a venue that is affordable and allows animal events, please message as we would like to continue to have a show in this area.

Our Story

Adding happiness, one hedgehog at a time! We are USDA licensed and have been raising quality African Pygmy Hedgehogs since 1995.

We have dedicated our program to learning from, teaching about, and improving the quality of pet hedgehogs. We have focused on health and temperament in our breeding program, and have seen tremendous improvement in both overall friendliness and longevity in our herd.

We are a large family and both dogs and cats, so our hedgehogs have enjoyed being handled and are used to normal household sounds.

We are excited to share our love for hedgehogs with you! Feel free to ask any hedgehog related questions that you have. We are happy to put our experience to work for you ! :)
