Tonight, we receive some really sad news. 13 years ago, Boss and Tilly came to us from the Dog Warden kennels in Coventry. Both dogs went off together to their forever home, where they were very much loved and had a fantastic life with a lovely young family.
At 15yrs old Boss has today, passed over the 🌈 rainbow bridge. 😢 Our deepest condolences go to Collette and her family, who we know gave Boss and Tilly their best life ever. Thinking of them all at this very sad time. 😢💔🫂

We are super excited to be sharing the news that this gorgeous boy Korg had now been adopted 🥰
He has gone to a fantastic forever home, and his new owners fell in love with him immediately. Korg has totally won their hearts, and we know hes already loving his new life with them.
Huge thank you to his fosters for taking great care of him, we know you are already missing him, ❤️ and just like us, are looking forward to his updates.

Next gorgeous girl coming into rescue. Mercedes is a 1 year old German shepherd - Belgian Malinous cross. Shes very underweight due to neglect but still took her treats so gently. Shes a beautiful gentle girl and has lots of potential. We don't know if she's dog friendly as she's abit to unsettled to test that at the minute. If interested please email [email protected] for an adoption application

Blu just wanted to drop in to show you how well he's done this week. He's in temporary foster as his fosters are on holiday. He's been heavily exposed to lots of dogs and has done soooo well. He's also joined the salon dogs and met lots of new humans who all loved him. Blu is still looking for his forever home and if you think it could be you please email [email protected] for an adoption application.

Blu has specific needs please see his other post further down with more information.

This gorgeous girl came into the pound last Friday.
So far, no one has come forward to claim her, so if unclaimed, she will be coming into rescue with us and looking for a foster home. While in foster we will look to get her seen by a vet ASAP. She has been limping while in stray kennels due to what looks like an old leg injury on her back leg. We think she may need xrays to see what the injury is an if it can be fixed. 🙏

About us

Based in Coventry, West Midlands ~ Suki's Canine Rescue is a Registered Community Interest Company (8266014) set up in 2012 to help educate dog owners and promote responsible dog ownership as well as rescuing dogs out of time in the pound and taking owner relinquishment's. We also provide safe, loving foster homes for dogs whilst their owners are in the hospital, homeless or in need of any kind of respite. We rent a 0.83 acre field which enables us to train and exercise our dogs off lead prior to them being rehomed. Exercise and good mental health go hand in hand equally as much for dogs as humans. Suki's Crew are all unpaid volunteers with a passion for helping dogs in need. Most of us have worked alongside rescues before, some of us have rescue dogs ourselves and some help with training & rehabilitation so they're ready to go off to their new homes. All dogs are chipped, neutered, vaccinated, flea & worm treated and given a once over by a vet before leaving our care and going to their matched forever home. We go above and beyond to help dogs by organising searches, reuniting stray dogs, assessing, offering advice to owners who are experiencing training issues with their own dogs, saving dogs from going into pounds and dogs who are out of time in pounds, home checks, transport runs, taking care of dogs whilst their owners are in hospital, homeless & so much more. We are truly honoured to announce that we are members of ADCH, Association of Dogs & Cats Homes. Support Adoption for Pets Dog Welfare Alliance Petplan
