🚫 Don’t make this common mistake after correcting your dog.
When your dog ignores a command and you need to correct them, rewarding immediately afterward can accidentally teach the wrong lesson. Your dog may associate the reward with the unwanted behavior that happened just before the correction, rather than with compliance.
Instead, give the command again, wait for your dog to perform it correctly, and then reward the desired behavior. This creates a clear connection between obedience and positive reinforcement.
Good timing = clear communication. 🐾
