Happy Thursday from Scholls Family Farm!

Berry season is starting to wind down, and we want to share a quick update on what’s happening in the fields.

-Raspberries are just about finished for the season. If you're really determined, you might still find a few—just don’t expect large quantities.
-Marionberries are also nearing the end, but some guests are still having success. Just be prepared for tougher picking conditions.
-Boysenberries are fading fast. They’re not jumping into your buckets like before, but there may still be a few out there.
-Blueberries are looking great! Reka and Chandler varieties are still going strong, and Blueberry Valley is just beginning to ripen up nicely and is open!

We’re open Tuesday through Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM, and we provide boxes for picking when you arrive.

Come soak up the summer and grab what’s left of the season—see you soon!

Hello from Scholls Family Farm,

With today’s high temperatures and the safety of our guests and team as our top priority, we will be closing early. Our hours today will be from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

We plan to resume regular hours tomorrow unless otherwise noted. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you today.

Hello from Scholls Family Farm!

Just a friendly reminder—we’re open Tuesday through Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM.

When you arrive, please stop by our check-in station at the front of the farm. Please check in, grab a bucket and box to pick into, and return to the same spot to weigh and pay after you’re done picking. All berries are $2 per pound.

Here’s your current crop update:

Raspberries are still going strong, especially the Willamette and Rudy varieties. We’re nearing the end of their season, but there’s still time to pick—weather permitting.

Marionberries are looking beautiful and plentiful. Now is definitely the time to come pick these!
Blackberries are doing great, with plenty ripe and lots more still coming. These will be around for a bit longer.

Boysenberries look beautiful and are very easy to pick right now.

Blueberries are doing well. The 🫐Dukes are still in the middle of their season and are plentiful. 🫐Reka blueberries are also abundant and easy to pick. The 🫐Chandlers are just starting to ripen and are looking huge and juicy.

We’re getting close to opening Blueberry Valley, but we’re still about a week away. We’ll keep you posted and let you know as soon as it’s ready.

Good morning from Scholls Family Farm!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has come out to pick and shown patience as we continue learning the ins and outs of the new farm. We’re doing our best to answer your questions and ensure this remains a special place for you and your families to enjoy.

Just a quick reminder — we will be closed tomorrow, July 4th, but will reopen for regular hours over the weekend.

Here’s a quick update from the fields:

-Raspberries are still at their peak! If you’re hoping to pick a large quantity with ease, now is the time — they’ll be going strong for about another week.
-Duke and Reka Blueberries are plentiful and picking beautifully. Other varieties are still a little ways out, and we’ll keep you updated as they come closer.
-Marionberries are in great shape and ready for picking — it’s a perfect time to come get them.
-Boysenberries are just starting and the field is now open for picking!
-Blackberries are ready!

Please remember to check in both before and after picking. We have buckets and boxes available for you to use while you’re here. All of the berries are $2/pound to pick.

We’re open today (Thursday) from 9–5, closed on the 4th, and then open again Saturday and Sunday from 9–5.

Hello from Scholls Family Farm—formerly known as Rowell Bros Berry Farm! We're officially open for the season and thrilled to welcome you under the new management of the Hoffman Family. It’s an honor to continue the legacy of the Rowell Family, whose deep roots in this community we deeply respect and admire.

Our farm is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Right now, we’re offering u-pick Raspberries, Blackberries, and Blueberries for just $2.00 per pound. We provide buckets for picking, so all you need to bring is your enthusiasm!

We can’t wait to see you out in the fields and share another sweet season of berry picking with you.

Due to unforeseen circumstances and changes within our family and farm management, Rowell Brothers U-pick Berry stands will no longer be operated by Rowell Bros Inc.

We will continue to operate the u-pick berry stand on the farm, under separate management. We encourage you to support local and continue to come out to the farm.

Don’t forget to stock up on berries for those cold winter months…It is perfect berry picking weather!! We are now open on the honor system. Please pay at the pay box located at the center row in the upper u-pick fields. Buckets are $10. Bring your own buckets. We invite you to visit Rowell Brothers farm. For more the 170 years the Rowell family has farmed this land. We know about growing berries.

Our experience provides you with the highest quality fruit possible. “U-Pick” or same day “We-Pick” guarantees the peak of freshness.

We are located in scenic Scholls, Oregon along the historic Scholls Ferry Road in the Tualatin Valley. This area is known to produce some of the finest berries in the world.
