What-Knott Farm We were a traveling zoo for over 30 years serving SE Pennsylvania. We retired at the end of 2024 but enjoy sharing our love of animals with others.

We still breed Babydoll Southdown sheep and Silkie Chickens.

"Sugar", our special Lionhead rabbit, passed away today. Sugar loved petting and would sit on young laps or pose for the camera for Silver Orchid Photography. We rescued her from an auction 7 years ago and she got to retire 2 years before our business retired. Missing her.

So true!

In 5 months, we hope to be having babydoll lambs born. Gestation is 5 months for sheep and this breed only breeds in the fall. So moved our black ram Ahasuerus in with the girls yesterday. Looks like Anna is going to be the first one to have her babies - just like last year. (We only have 3 ewes). Stay tuned until spring!

Our neighbors like to feed donuts to our animals. Taffy loved the one with blue icing! Lol

Day 5 for brush clearing. A little progress...notice how far up they can reach the tender shoots on that tall w**d. Can anyone identify that w**d? It has a strong pungent, but sweet smell.

Since retirement, we downsized our herd of goats. Peanut and Taffy have their work cut out to do w**d control in their former area. Not sure 2 goats can handle it all! This is their second day trying ...( can you find them?)

Sad way to end a hot day. Our miniature horse, Sandy, died very quickly. She was at least 24 years old and had some health issues. I almost euthanized her last week but she "told" me, it wasn't time. Tonight the cows spooked her and she ran out of her stall and within minutes, she dropped down and died. She was retired, but she gave us lots of memories. She would stand for hours and let people pet her, groom her and braid her mane. She was a special miniature horse...Sandy, the color of Sand!
