Yay Snow is here!

Weather changes always give me anxiety with dogs.

Just a friendly reminder while your dogs have fun in the snow wet and cold dogs is only ok for a bit while playing.

Cold and dry ok for longer time... Cold and wet.... Nope!

Remember if you're cold, they're cold.

Anything below freezing temps is not a time to leave dogs outside for a longer period of time.

Keep them dry and warm!

Introductions to a new way of life is much easier when you have a trained dog. Freedom and privileges are earned because rules are understood easier. We can then include our dogs rather than shun them away. When your dog trusts you and the lines of communication are open, life is peaceful!

People wonder why I am so adamant about training your puppy! Starting young is key for a long and happy life, but if there are issues it is easier to work them out when they are young rather than 2 or 3 years of age.

Please do not try to take a bone from your dog of you are unsure of the response. Stay safe. Keep your fingers. Reach out to a trainer.

This little nugget is Weezy! This little mama was exhausted today from training. Yes, dogs do need physical exercise, but more importantly they need mental exercise. This is what happens after 45 minutes of obedience and work around d distractions. Looking forward to the next lesson!

I often tell my clients that being in the dog world is sad and sometimes disturbing. I wish it was puppy love but too often its rehabbing abused pups and knowing they are not bad dogs but misunderstood. I was taught to be an advocate for the dog. Be an educator and a voice for dogs. Please love your pups and be a fair leader.

A 37-year-old man, who owns a boarding and training facility in Woodstock, was arrested after being accused of starving and abusing dogs at his facility, according to police and several owners of the abused dogs.

Hey guys! Changes in seasons burdens the hearts of dog lovers everywhere because dogs suffer from our ignorance. So, PLEASE do not ever let your dog stand on black top. It burns their feet, feel for yourself. Never ever leave your dog in a car, sunroom, or other type of enclosure that is not air conditioned AND shaded.

Please share for the purpose of saving our best friends from death and senseless injuries.

Hey guys,

Your dog is only good outside for MAYBE 1 minute, so if they have an accident in the house, do not hold it against them.

I suggest taking them out on a leash so they stay focused to go potty and do not walk far in the yard. If they do not go potty bring them in and try again in an hour or so.

If you let them out do not walk away from the door. Wait for them, so they do not have to wait for you.

My old dog Hank waited 24 hours when we had weather like this years ago. They can hold it and if they don't, it will be ok. It it nobody's fault.

Please, please, please help and report any pets you see stuck outside to the police!
