Christmas has come early to our house with the safe arrival of our ten labrador puppies. Mum Sally and all pups are doing great. The next 8 weeks will be busy raising these little guys for their forever homes. Please be patient if we’re a bit delayed with messages. Currently sleep deprived after Sally’s all nighter delivery. We wish all our wonderful clients a very Merry Christmas and safe festive season.

Whilst we all enjoy this beautiful spring weather that we are having, it is a timely reminder that allergy season will soon be upon us.

This is Abbie who has struggled her whole life with allergies. her devoted mum has spent endless amounts of money on vet visits and medications in an attempt to help her itchy skin.

When we first saw Abbie at her home she was miserable. Her skin was so inflamed and sore, she had lost a lot of hair and her skin had changed in colour and thickness as a consequence of chronic scratching. Abbie wouldn’t even get off her bed on the couch to greet us.

Now Abbie is a new dog like a puppy again. Her mum has taken on board all of the advice given and even more importantly now has a full understanding of allergies and how to manage the flare ups with Abbie.

A huge advantage of home visits is the extra time that can be given to complex cases like Abbie’s. Time that is crucial to enable owners to gain an understanding of what is happening to their dog and how they can intervene before the condition gets out of control.

Abbie and her mum have been star pupils and now enter into spring without dreading the allergy season. Allergies do not go away but they can be very well managed.

A big shout out to Steph at Kleener K-9s for her part in bathing Abbie with so much love and care during her treatment. At her worst Steph was bathing Abbie daily. Abbie, her mum and I cannot recommend Steph enough

Advance Notice - Leave in July - Please get your prescription orders in.

To all our wonderful clients. Thankyou for your support since starting on this mobile journey 8 months ago.

We are planning to take a short winter holiday in July and as such we will be unavailable for deliveries and appointments from the 11th to 30th July.

If your pet is on regular medication please check your supplies are adequate to last until then.

If you are going to need more then please get your orders in by Friday 5th July to give us time to deliver them before leaving.

Gorgeous Chester has an ulcer on his cornea and needs to wear a collar to prevent him scratching at his eye. His mum sent us this cute photo of him finding a good use for the permanent pillow around his neck. Something tells me he’s going to be just fine keeping his collar on while his eye heals. 🥰

One of the perks of mobile vetting is you get to meet lots of little cuties in their home environment. Today these 6 week old mini dachshunds were very brave for their first vaccinations and microchips. Mum and Dad Poppy and Chester patiently waited while their babies underwent their checks and needles. They all reunited for a play afterwards and I suspect all will sleep well tonight.
Human mum Molly has done a great job raising these gorgeous, healthy little pups. These two boys are still available so feel free to PM me if you’re on the hunt for a pup and I can put you in touch with Molly. ❤️

Cat Vaccines Now Available

As many of you know cat vaccines have been in great shortage for the last 12 months. Well the good news is we now have F3 vaccines available. If you are needing to put your cat into boarding, or for the indoor lower risk cats we’ve got you covered. Just send through a message to book an appointment.
Still waiting on F5 vaccines to come back in stock. Will update here when they are available again.

Like Leo here most animals are more relaxed in their home environment.

We’ve had a few enquiries about what we can and can’t offer at home so I thought I’d summarise.

Essentially anything you would ring your vet for to make an initial appointment we can do at home. So for example - vaccinations, skin, ears, eyes, nail clips, a**l glands, behaviour, anxiety, lumps and bumps, tummy upsets, lameness, old age checks and end of life.

We also have access to external laboratories for running of blood tests, urine checks, ear swabs, lump cytology (fine needle aspirates) etc - samples for which are taken whilst at your home.

As we are not always in the one location, if you have an emergency then your local vet hospital is your best option during clinic hours or outside normal hours head to WAVES or PVE.

At this stage we are not doing surgery but watch this space as a surgical site is a work in progress.

We are based near Joondalup but are happy to travel anywhere - message me for a quote.

As always - if you’re not sure then send us a message and we’ll happily advise on the best option for you and your fur baby.

Currently down at the farm looking after these animals. This is where we’ll be most weekends so there may be delays in responses to messages. For now we are aiming to be in Perth weekdays and at the farm for weekends.

Merry Christmas from our fur family to yours. Thankyou for your support as we delve into this new business adventure. We will be taking a break over the Christmas and New Year period but will be available for appointments again from the 3rd January.
