We are a small home based hobby kennel whose ultimate goal is trying very seriously to strive for breeding that ultimate Pug. The standards says it “multum in parvo” a compactly built form, well knit in proportions, and hard developed muscling combined with free, sound, self-assured, and jaunty movement and topped by an even-stable temperament of playfulness, great charm, dignity, and an outgoing

, loving disposition is what our ultimate dream Pug will be. Here in Diamond Sands, we believe only The Very Best will do for our breeding program. Ann Seranne described breeding as “combination of art and science, of common sense and intelligence, to which must be added modicum of luck, and tremendous amount of intestinal fortitude.” Breeders have grave responsibilities for the life they creates, living, loving angelic souls which might never have been brought into this world had not a breeder taken it into his/her own hands to mate a certain dog to a certain bitch. Believing in a philosophy that breeding is done solely for betterment of the next generation, to produce something better than our current breeding stocks, to improve the breed towards a better future, we tirelessly try to educate ourselves spending many hours learning pedigrees, going over dogs, talking and learning from those in within our breed and those from outside. This endeavor has allowed us to acquire numerous knowledge from those more experienced as well as those whose breeding we admires. It has also blessed us with lots of new found friendships within dog world. Many thanks we would like to express to our friends and mentors who have not only share us with their knowledge, wisdoms, and experience but also allowing us to be privilege enough to be able to be shared some of their precious breedings. Adam, MBIS MBISS Diamond Sand's Simply Perfect, has became Canadian Pug Record Holder. Over last weekend, Adam won a Reserve Best In Show under Lee Anne Bateman, his 29th Best In Show under Mike MacBeth, his 30th Best under Virginia Lyne to tie the Canadian Pug record and his 31st Best In Show under Pam Bruce to set a new Canadian Pug Best In Show record previously held by the famous Oscar, Adam’s Grandad.
We are over the moon excited for this prestigious accolades!

Am. Thai Ch. Diamond Sand Triple Threats, a.k.a. Luke, finishing picture under respected all rounder Mr. Joe Gregory. He is son of our Link out of Annie, our special girl from Ricardo Saldana and Gabriela Guillén of Guivercelli Pugs. Many thanks to Karen Thompson for handling him to his title and taking a wonderful care of him. We are very proud of this handsome litter!

Last weekend Diamond Sand had quite a successful shows. C**t came out and won a group third over tuff competition. And Chelsea won Best Baby of The Year, which is a competition for all Best Baby In Show winners of 2016!!! We can not be prouder. Many thanks to Lee VanLeeuwen for entrusting C**t and to Mari Anne Parks for entrusting Chelsea to us here at Diamond Sand.

Saturday was a super exciting day for Diamond Sand! Our Adam won Best In Show in Canada with Todd Foley under FCI All Rounder, Patricia Cruz from USA, and in Thailand, our new boy, Diamond Sand's Three Musketeers, aka Like. On his first ever Thailand shows, won back to back Best Junior In Show!!! Many thanks to international all-rounders Roberto Tesoro from Philippines, Jan Campbell and Lynette Brown from Australia for recognizing our boy's quality type and soundness.

Adam, Multi BIS Multi Ch. Diamond Sand's Simply Perfect won yet another Best In Show under Betty Regina Leininger in Newfoundland, at NKC 50th show. What a fabulous news to woke up to. He was shown by his daddy Todd. Thank you Todd and Allison for giving Adam such a wonderful loving home.

Good day at World Dog Show in Moscow for Team Diamond Sand. C**t, Am. Ch. Sycamore's What A Pistol won a very competitive open dog class over 35 pug males. And Chelsea, Chelsea's Sirius Lady In Red won her puppy bitch class and got Reserve Best Puppy In Breed. Many thanks to breeder of C**t and Chelsea, Lee VanLeeuwen and Mari Anne Parks also to our handler Poonthawee Lor U Thai and Flint Than Teeravedj for making all of this possible.

C**t is son of the Legendary Tuggy, BIS BISS Am Ch. Glory's Fantasy TugBoat W***y. Many many thanks for Lee and Alicia for entrusting C**t to us at Diamond Sand and we are looking for a great time with him both in the show ring as well as in whelping box.
