They say all good things come to an end and sadly.....that is true.

We have decided, after much deliberation, tears, and heartache, to wind down operations as Rescued & Ready, Inc.

The decision was a long and emotional one spurred by changing personal priorities and an international move by one of our directors.

We are infinitely proud of the work we have done, the lives we have saved, the lives we have improved, the message we have championed, and the families we have made.

These dogs; these amazing, loving, loyal dogs so often maligned and mistreated will continue to be our passion. Veteran wellbeing will continue to be a very personal fight for us all. We are not leaving the rescue community, but are merely stepping back to continue the work.

We thank you all for your loyalty, your commitment to Rescued & Ready, Inc., and to the amazing dogs we defend and love every day.

Keep up the good fight and thank you.

See that happy, excited face? (The dog, not the humans though they look pretty happy too!)

This is King.

King was surrendered to a shelter after 7 years with his family and was going downhill quick. His future was looking bleak, he was shutting down at the shelter and was unable to make the adoption floor. Euthanasia was in his near future, we were contacted and with a short amount of time left, R&R along with a fantastic first time foster family stepped in to save his life.

Welcome to your next chapter, King and thank you to an amazing foster family.

Without them, pulling King would have been impossible.
