Allergic Rescuers KL We are a group of friends who rescue, foster, and TNR strays in Kuala Lumpur, MY. We are not a shelter.

We are NOT a shelter, just a group of like-minded friends who share a mission to help street cats that we come across in our daily lives. We juggle full-time jobs and family commitments together with our rescue work. As such, we are not at liberty to take on rescue requests from the public. What we CAN do is share information and guide you HOW to help a cat in need. It takes a village to help our

strays, not just a few individuals. YOU can do your part as well :) Imagine how many more stray cats we can help if everyone plays their part.

Tapatio isn’t the kind of cat who immediately grabs your attention when you walk into a room. He doesn’t have a big fluffy coat. He doesn’t pose perfectly for the camera. He doesn’t sparkle in photos the way some others do. But if you spend just a little time with him, you’ll realise what we’ve known all along. He’s such a good cat.

There’s something quietly special about him. He’s calm, affectionate, and easy to be around. He’ll keep you company without ever asking for much. He doesn’t push himself into the spotlight. He simply fits into your life in the softest and sweetest way.

When he first came into our care, Tapatio was afraid. He carried the kind of fear that comes from not knowing what it means to feel safe. So we gave him what he needed most. Time, patience, soft words, and plenty of snacks. Slowly, he began to trust. The fear faded, and little by little, we met the real Tapatio.

Now he is one of the most easygoing cats we know. He is gentle, kind, and gets along beautifully with other cats. He is what we lovingly call a perfect fur bro. The kind of cat who makes a fur family feel complete.

Tapatio is around 1 year old. He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. He would love to be adopted with his brother Sriracha, but he would also do well in any home with another friendly cat to bond with.

He may not be the flashiest cat, but he has something even better. A gentle heart and the sweetest personality. If you think Tapatio might be the missing piece in your home, send us a message to meet him. And if you cannot adopt, a like or share might help him reach the person who will. 🧡

Somehow, Honeybun is still waiting. It’s been over 500 days since she was rescued, and not one person has asked about her. Not even once.

We first found her outside a coffee shop. She wasn’t crying or begging for food. She was just… there. Alone. We couldn’t take her in right away, but we promised we’d come back for her. And when we did, weeks later, she was still there. Still waiting.

From the moment she realised she was safe, Honeybun started to open up. She purred, made biscuits, leaned into our hands. Since then, she’s been nothing but sweet. She’s steady, affectionate, and so easy to be around. Her presence makes everything feel softer.

She’s about 2 years old now. She’s spayed, vaccinated, deflead, dewormed, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV. She would do best as the only cat in a loving home.

Maybe she’s not the kind of cat who stands out right away. But if you take a moment to really see her, you’ll understand why we love her so much.

If you think you might be her person, send us a message. And if not, maybe you can help her be seen by liking, commenting, or sharing this post. 🙏

Today we would like to take moment to appreciate how far Apple has come since her rescue a year ago. 🥹 Originally picked up by 's adopter, knew Apple was destined to be an ARKL cat.

When Apple arrived, it was so clear she was in terrible shape and in so much pain. She was covered in smelly drool and her bony body looked like she couldn't go on for much longer. Through donations from all of you, we were able to begin Apple's healing journey.

Since last year, Apple has been through so much with her health. But she has never given up, so neither have we. And we couldn't have done this without your support and encouragement. Apple's care is not cheap and she's quickly earned her frequent patient card at the vet 😹

We are in awe of this cat and her fighting spirit- she's tackled CKD, full dental extractions, mouth and gastric ulcers and high blood pressure like the queen she is. Her love of tummy rubs is unparalleled (perhaps except by her love of treats!) and she never misses a chance to make biscuits.

For however long Apple has left, we will do everything we can to make sure each moment is full of the love and care she deserves.

Happy rescue-versary, baby girl. We love you so so much! 🍎 🧡

We're so happy to announce that Panini has passed her home trial! She is now called Mochi and even has a new rescue sister named Miso 🥹 if you'd like to follow their adventures go to .purrsquad!

Panini was rescued by who came across a solo kitten in a parking garage. Not a safe place for a kitten...but you know where is a safe place? ! Panini quickly settled into life with the naughty boy kittens but wasn't a huge fan of their chaos. She longed for a boy free life!

Thankfully Yee Vonne was looking to adopt and Panini caught her eye, even when Panini refused to come out during the meet and greet. 😹

Now, Panini is living a fabulous life with her forever family, and for that, we are so grateful. Goodbye is always the goal with our foster cats and knowing they're going to such loving homes makes it a little bit easier to bid them adieu. 🧡

Guess what? We’ve got the happiest news. After a whole year of waiting, Monty and Drake finally got adopted. And the best part? They got to stay together. 🧡🧡

These two have been with us since August 2024, when they were just four weeks old. They were found with their three siblings inside a cardboard box, abandoned near a busy highway. No mum in sight. No food. No protection. Just five tiny kittens left in the middle of nowhere. It’s awful to think about, but it happens more often than people realise. Leaving kittens that young like that isn’t giving them a “chance.” At four weeks old, they can’t survive on their own. Whoever left them there wasn’t trying to help.

Thankfully, someone found them in time. They were brought into our care and slowly started to grow stronger. All five made it. Three of the siblings were adopted pretty quickly. But Monty and Drake stayed.

Not because they were difficult. Not because they weren’t sweet or social. They were, and always have been, absolute gems. But sometimes kittens get overlooked. Sometimes the timing is off. Sometimes they just don’t stand out. And sometimes it’s simply because the right family hasn’t come along yet. That’s what we believe happened with Monty and Drake.

These two boys are a unit. They play together, nap together, groom each other. They’re soft, sunny, goofy, and gentle. Just genuinely happy cats - the kind you can’t help but love once you truly see them. And finally, someone did.

When and her family reached out, it felt different. They didn’t ask for any cats. They asked about Monty and Drake. They saw their bond. They saw their sweetness. And they were ready to open their home to both of them, not just as pets but as family. We couldn’t be more grateful.

Thank you, Shirieene, for choosing adoption. Thank you for choosing not just one, but two. Thank you for seeing the joy, the love, and the magic in these two ginger boys.

It took a year, but it was absolutely worth the wait. 🥹

We’re so grateful to fosters Vohara & Arveena for caring for the boys until they found their forever home. We could not do what we do without our wonderful fosters ❤️

Happy adoption day to Baked Beans 🥳🥳🥳 Although he's now giant sized, he was rescued as a three day old kitten early this year. His rescuer bottlefed him until he was weaned and ready to join . There he played happily with all his foster friends until a wonderful family fell in love with him...

and her family were looking for a friend for their first rescue cat, Creamy and knew Baked Beans would be perfect. Beans quickly made himself comfortable in his new home and acts like he's always been there 🧡 Thank you to Creamy and family for welcoming Beans and loving him! What a far way he's coming from being a kitten found in a road to being in his forever home. 🥹

If you would like to follow the adventures of Beans and Creamy, you can find them at . 😻 Be sweet to your family, Beans! We love you!

Brisket isn’t the loudest cat in the room. He’s not wild, dramatic, or trying to steal the spotlight. But he’s the kind of cat that makes everything feel a little more loving.

At 7 months old, Brisket has taken on a quiet but important role in his foster home: the gentle big brother. While the younger kittens bounce around with endless energy, Brisket is the one who watches over them. He shares his space. He shares his toys. And he even grooms them, patiently and sweetly, like he knows they still have a lot to learn about the world.

Brisket’s story began as a tiny kitten alone on a sidewalk near the US Embassy. No food. No shelter. No mum. Just a small kitten hoping someone might notice. And someone did. His rescuer didn’t plan to take in a kitten that day, but she knew she couldn’t walk away.

Since then, Brisket has grown into an affectionate young cat. He loves playing and curling up near people he trusts. He doesn’t push for attention, but when he gets it, he leans in with all his heart. He’s observant and gentle. The kind of presence that brings balance to a home.

He’s neutered, vaccinated, deflead, dewormed, and FIV and FeLV negative. He would love to be adopted into a home with another friendly cat or with one of his foster buddies.

Brisket may not have a loud personality. But he has something else: a soft kind of love. And maybe it’s the same kind of love you’ve been looking for.

Send us a DM to meet him. Or help Brisket’s person find him by liking, commenting, or sharing. He’s been waiting with quiet hope. 🧡
