I have been working on the streets of Freeport, for over ten years, quietly becoming a part of the community serving both strays and the homeless. I am appreciative of any support or resources you can send our way. We currently maintain a warehouse in Ft. Lauderdale and welcome any donations or supplies intended for either animals or humans. Additionally, we operate an export business into the Bahamas that helps facilitate our outreach.

A distressed stray pregnant kitty was dropped off at my cattery in March 2025! I was asked to allow her to have her babies & nurse them - which I did! After all was said & done ….. the next challenge was to get her to her human Mama in California. After, a little planning by the human Mom - to get her from Ft Lauderdale to California…. I had to get her from Freeport to Ft. Lauderdale….. so I had my husband Eddie bring her to me in Ft Lauderdale, where she rested for a few days, until it was time to drop her off to her flight nanny! I am so thankful for this entire circle that made it happen & more importantly to her Mom for never forgetting about her in the Bahamas - here’s to her new life ❤️

🐾 These sweet kittens are Precious Paws Animal Rescue Group’s first rescue of the year, and they already have quite a story to tell. One of our amazing volunteers recently came across a gentleman who lives near Dragon Plaza. He shared that he has over 60 cats and is overwhelmed, expressing a strong need to get them spayed and neutered.

For the past few weeks, we’ve been helping him by providing food for the cats and also have already gotten more than half of his cats fixed. During this time, we noticed these precious kittens in his yard and saw that they were heavily infested with fleas. Our volunteer stepped up, took them home, gave them baths, and got them all defleaed.

Now these sweet babies are safe, clean, and ready for the next chapter of their lives. 💕
