Journey Home Rescue is a non profit animal rescue operating under IRS Section 501(c)(3). and to provide hospice care for those in need.

Journey Home Rescue is a non profit muIti-state rescue, founded by rescuers with over 80 years combined in rescue experience, headquartered in Washington, with rescue members in ldaho and Oregon. It is the mission of Journey Home Rescue to address, educate, rescue, provide aid and relief to eradicate neglected, abused, and unwanted dogs at risk of euthanasia and homelessness. We do this through se

rvices such as vetting, medical care, supplies, house visits, transportation, boarding and providing nurturing foster homes where these animals can heal (both emotionally and physically) until a permanent home is found through our adoption screening process. It is our mission to provide and promote the importance of proper care, consistent vaccination, spay and neutering of companion animals to decrease the growing population of companion animals. We believe ultimately this will decrease pain, suffering and cruelty.

URGENT - FOSTER NEEDED:

Golden Archie is new to rescue and needs a foster/adopter before the end of December.
Archie is a purebred Red golden retriever, he is 18 months old, weighs 61 pounds. He loves kids, good with other dogs and cats. He is housetrained, does pull some on leash, rides in car ok just a little nervous. Up to date on vaccines, still needs neuter.
Can you give Golden Archie a home? He will make a great companion to a loving home, that will give him the attention he so wants. Transport is provided to approved home. Email [email protected] for Golden Archie.

Welcome, Honey Butter into rescue. She is a sweetheart little 6. 5 pound Chihuahua x, about 2-4 years old. She was alone on the streets & found herself in a shelter. Honey Butter is a very gentle soul, she wants to be your lap dog. She needs to be spayed, up date on vaccines, microchip, wormed, over all health exam before she is ready for adoption. Located in southwest Idaho in foster care. Transport will be provided to approved adopter when ready for adoption, within the Pacific northwest. Email [email protected]

Crisco, new to rescue, is such a Happy little boy. He is 3-year-old male Pomeranian. Under 10 pounds but full of energy and love! Crisco loves to give kisses and hang out on your lap or right beside you. He is good with other dogs and kids. He will be up to date on vaccines, microchipped and neutered prior to adoption. Caylee - incoming to rescue. This very sweet little 8 year old female Shih tzu is needing a foster/adopter. She is good with other dogs and kids, though at her age would prefer a soft bed, with her person and quiet home life. She does need to complete her vetting. Transport is provided to approved home. Since coming into rescue we have learning that Earl Gray and Fujian Tea are very bonded, we will not separate them.
Earl Gray male poodle, 1-2 years old. Moyen poodle (between toy and standard size). Mellow temperament. Both are house trained, crate trained.
Fujian Tea, 3-4 year old male Moyen poodle. Both are good with kids, other dogs & cats. Vetting will be done before going to a home. Located in southern Idaho, transport is provided to approved home within the Pacific northwest. ***Buster Brown*** came in to rescue because his owner could no longer care for him. This sweet guy has the cutest personality and is the happiest little boy. He enjoys playing with his foster friends, and is great with kids, cats, and dogs of all sizes. Buster Brown also Loves to snuggle, and always wants to be right next to you, wherever you are. He is a 13-pound 6-year-old Chihuahua, microchipped, neutered and up to date on vaccines. He is also house/crate trained. Transport is provided to approved home within the Pacific Northwest. 💜****AVAILABLE****💜 Pocus and his brother Hocus were dumped in a farming area, no idea how long they were roaming on their own, the only thing they had was each other A good Samaritan found and took care of them until the rescue was able to take them in. Havanese mix is best guess, 20-25 pounds, young male. He is a bit shy at first but has warmed up quickly in his foster home and wants to be where everyone else is. He is great with dogs of all sizes.
Sweet Pocus will always greet you with a happy wagging tail waiting to be loved on.
He will be neutered prior to adoption, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, wormed, flea/tick treatment. Located in southern Idaho, if interested, transport is provided within the Pacific northwest. Email [email protected] ask for Pocus!!

Hayden came into rescue recently. 3 years old, 9 pounds of Maltese/poodle mix, he is a very friendly little guy, would love to be your lap dog. Picked up on the streets, no one ever claimed at a shelter. No history is known prior to coming into rescue. Hayden gets along with other dogs and cats. Kids unknown. Hayden is crate trained, house trained. Hayden will need vetting prior to being adopted. Located in southern Idaho transport would be provided with in the Pacific northwest.
