We couldn’t imagine the feeling of facing this and the odds of almost certain death. We thank God such men lived!

We always enjoyed going to schools and talking with the students. I think everyone just wanted to see and enjoy Ravi’s presence…. I was just his chauffeur!

On 04/28/2017 McPherson County Sheriff's Office K-9 Handler Deputy Somers and his partner K9 Ravi stopped at McPherson Middle School to visit with Ms. Bowers 7th grade class for Career Day. Deputy Somers spoke about his experiences and stories with the students to better help them understand what it is like to have a career in law enforcement. Deputy Somers also was able to answer and explain several questions he received from the students .

Thank you to Ms. Bowers 7th grade class and the McPherson Middle School for allowing Deputy Somers and K9 Ravi to stop by and say hello.
