Happy belated Thanksgiving! Im still enjoying life and have been enjoying the snow today ❤️

Phew it’s been a long time since I’ve updated. To be honest my life has been perfectly boring. Two walks a day, nightly treats, wet food and delicacy’s mixed in with my meals, time playing with my dog cousins. I’m still doing well. Recently I acquired a human sister, but I would rather act as her nanny. I’ve been a wonderful companion for mom, dad, and my new sister throughout this difficult transition. My favorite thing to do is lick her head and face when she is upset. I’ve been a wonderfully calm and nurturing sister and mom and dad could not be more proud of how well behaved I have been and how seamlessly I’ve accepted her into our family. ❤️ rescue pups are the best kind of loving

We cheated and did a joint birthday/gotcha day celebration. Our sweet girl is 10 (approximately), and she has been with us for 6 whole years. She lovessss her peanut butter pupcakes ❤️

Our very first apartment was very old with plenty of gaps and cracks to the elements, we always wondered why we never struggled with bugs….. we eventually figured it out

I’ve been enjoying what mom calls my new “retirement life”. Lots of time lounging in the sun on the back porch, plenty of naps, and nightly walks.

It’s been a while since we’ve posted because we MOVED. I’m doing great in the new house. I’m a lot less stressed out due to fewer shared walls, unexpected noises, and people passing by. I’ve got a large fenced in backyard that I am honestly uninterested in because the fence blocks my views. There is a park with a dog park about 0.25 miles down the road that I began to demand visiting pretty quickly after we moved in… and now we visit nightly. Some days I run along the fence with other dogs, some days I get to play on the same side, and some days we get the whole place to ourselves. I’m doing wonderful 😊 (A common conversation at the park “oh how old is she?” Mom and dad- “she’s about 9” them “months?” 😂😂 nope)

Back from the trip of a lifetime! There were times mom and dad didn’t think that bringing me on this type of trip would ever be possible. I proved them wrong and got to explore new parts of the country, hike in national parks, and live in a camper van.

Lots of new experiences! Yesterday I spent 12 hours in the car for the first time ever and slept the whole ride. Last night was my first time in a hotel with lots of sounds and people, I only barked a few times and am getting more and more used to it. Today, I was an absolute tank and hiked some very steep, rocky terrain and passed lots of off leash pups. I think this trip will teach me to be more flexible and brave in the face of change. So far I’m being a champ.

Breaking in some new hiking boots this morning for our trip. I eventually got used to them 😂 and they stayed in place for our two mile run, so they passed the test.
