Well, we got the results of the biopsy today, and it was awful news. Our sweet, precious little kitty has adenocarcinoma, a very painful aggressive cancer in her mouth. Not the news I wanted to hear, but given her rapid decline it came as no real surprise. My heart is breaking over this. I am spending one more night with her and tomorrow she will be set free from her pain.

Our precious girl is having a tough go of it. This has come on so fast... She’s having increasing trouble eating, significant pain, and she’s not moving around much at all. We got a new pain med on board today. I’m hoping I can manage her pain while we wait for the biopsy results.

Out little Margaret went to see Dr Jandron today, and he found a large ulcer in the back of her mouth. He is doing a biopsy on it this afternoon. Please keep our precious little girl in your prayers.

Margaret hasn’t been feeling well lately. She’s started making grinding noises with her mouth several days ago. Can’t get her in to the vet till next Monday. Picked up some gabapentin yesterday, and that seemed to make her feel a little better.

Somebody was a good girl at the vets today. She got her belly shaved, and had an ultrasound. Didn’t find anything. Gotta try to put some more weight on her, and keep this little girl happy.

This little girl has quite the appetite lately! That’s good! Back to vet tomorrow for an ultrasound. Im thinking she had some stones that were undetected. Her urine has been discolored for the past few weeks. Today, guess what, it’s clear.

Well, back to vet today. UTI and stones are ruled out. Now waiting on blood work.

had another vet visit today. One good thing about her using a p*e pad is that you notice when it changes color. Our girl has some blood in her urine. She had an ultrasound today which found nothing. Urine sent off for culture, and antibiotics on board. All that didn’t stop her from enjoying a nice snack of tuna while at the vet.

Little Miss Margaret had quite a day today. First, she didn’t get her breakfast, which she was quite upset about. Then, she had to go out into the cold and snow and take a ride to the vet, where she spent all day. This afternoon she had a dental procedure, had six extractions and her teeth cleaned. She did really well through the procedure, but she’s spending the night at the vet where she can rest peacefully. It’ll be good to get her back home tomorrow.
