Today was my first acupuncture adventure at the vet’s office. Before we started, I was a little unsure. Then a really gentle lady, Dr. Moore, came in and stuck a bunch of these little red needles in me, but it didn’t really hurt. I could just tell they were there.

When she was done, she left Mom and me in the room by ourselves, and I didn’t understand. Was I supposed to go home with all these needles sticking out of me? No way!! I did a couple of shakes and was able to shake out 5 of those things, but no more.

Mom didn’t seem to be getting ready to leave, so I finally just laid down on the cool tile and rested. It must’ve been a long time later since I almost fell asleep, but another kind lady finally came in and took all the needles out. Then we left.

I’m really not sure what that was all about, but Mom said we’re coming back to do it again next week and then again some other time to see if it “works,” whatever that means. It wasn’t so scary, so I don’t think I mind trying it again, especially since I got a lot of treats for it! And I’ll do almost anything for treats! 🐶❤️🍪

I was so happy I got to go to work with Mom on her birthday. I worked hard at the office with her today, so I was really happy when we got to go back home too. Happy birthday, Mom! ❤️🎉🎁🎈

My first day on the job with Mommy was a success!

Mom said she needed my help at work. I thought that was pretty funny - how’s a puggle supposed to help in financial services? 🐕😝

But then I heard her talking about doing some paperwork for a client’s rollover, and that’s when it hit me: I’m an expert at rolling over! She really DOES need my help at work! 😃

It was a long day at the office, but I’m happy to be anywhere as long as I’m with my mom. 🐶❤️👩

Now excuse me while I go take a nap - I’m exhausted! 😴

I’ve had recurring urinary tract infections for a few months now, so Mom decided to take me in for a check-up with the vet today. Unfortunately, we left with worse news than expected: I have a tumor the size of a large grapefruit growing in my abdomen, and a second smaller mass growing next to it. The vet thinks that the tumors are pressing on my bladder (and other organs), and that is what is causing my urinary problems.

The last surgery I had nearly took me out for good, so Mommy and the vet decided it was best to just manage the pain until my time comes to move to doggie heaven, which the vet says will likely happen within the next year or so.

This is all very fresh, and so Mom, Dad, and I are still trying to make sense of it all, but I know I’m in good hands. I am still such a happy boy, and I still LOVE to eat!

And even though I act like I don’t understand my mom when she tells me stuff sometimes, I DO understand the human language and heard very distinctly when the vet told Mom she was prescribing all my favorite things, including delicious steak, as much as I want from now on. Silver lining. 😃

We appreciate your prayers for us as we move forward after this life-changing news. I will keep you all updated. Thank you all for being my friends!

Today we celebrate the Lord Jesus’ victory over death after His work on the cross to cleanse humans of their sins.

Thankfully, we pups just need our faces cleansed. Let me show you how it’s done: just sniff, lick, & wipe! And voilà! I’m brand new!

Today my mom got this special doggie bandana from her college she attended, Grand Valley State University, for their Alumni “Bark at Your Park” event. Since it’s her birthday, I allowed a short photo shoot. And by “allowed,” I mean barely cooperated while begging for treats the whole time. This was the best she could get after taking about 40 pics. I think it’s pretty good! I look handsome, right? 🐶😁📸
