Foreign Body Mystery: Solved! 🕵️‍♀️🐾
When sweet Graham started having soft stools and a decreased appetite, his mom did all the right things — offering a bland diet and probiotics to help him feel better. But when his symptoms didn’t improve, she brought him in for an Urgent Care visit with Dr. Lindgren.

After a thorough exam, Dr. Lindgren recommended x-rays to take a closer look 🩻 — and sure enough, we spotted something suspicious in his small intestines! 🧐

Thankfully, the foreign material wasn’t causing a full obstruction, so we were able to take a more conservative approach. Graham received fluids to help "grease the gears" of his digestive system and encourage the object to pass naturally.

Later, his mom made a key discovery: a chunk of Graham’s favorite red toy bone was missing — and it matched the shape of the foreign object on the x-ray! 🦴

We’re happy to report that Graham successfully passed the mystery piece (💩✅), and is feeling much better!
Let this be a friendly reminder to keep an eye on well-loved toys — even the tough ones — as they can sometimes break off and cause a sneaky stomach upset.

Let’s be honest—when the vet says it’s time for the cone, most pet parents brace themselves for a little drama. Those big plastic "lampshades" aren’t exactly comfortable—or stylish! 😅

But check out Ziggy, one of our recent surgery patients, rocking a donut cone! 🍩💕 This adorable inflatable option (yes, complete with frosting and sprinkles!) is not only cute, but super effective at preventing licking or chewing after surgery!
