Isabela, 4.5 years old, of . Tonight, the NYC dog community came together at to celebrate the life of Kelly Crook, the beloved founder of . In honor of Kelly, people (and pups!) wore black and white gingham and teal, the colors of the Pupper Cup brand. Isabela wore a gingham bow tie and her mom even stitched a teal heart on it. We have followed Isabela for years but had never met and we agreed we wished it had been under different circumstances. 💔 The evening was a beautiful way to honor a very special soul - and even through the tears there was a lot of joy which was a reflection of Kelly’s spirit and the joy she brought to countless people and dogs. It was an otherwise perfect evening - the only thing missing was Kelly. 🖤🖤🤍🤍

🫒 Olive, 5.5 years old. Olive was the first doxie we met at the epic meetup yesterday! She was adopted from a year and a half ago after being rescued from being a breeding dog in Missouri (aka the “Puppy Mill Capital of the U.S.” 😡) We’re so glad you’re living your best life now, Olive, and get to spend a beautiful summer Saturday hanging out with 200+ other doxies in Central Park! (Oh - and we absolutely love a little dog with big, plump paws 🐾! You are divine, Olive!)

Lola, 14 years old. When we saw this girl from across the street we almost yelled “L-O-L-A, Lola!” Actually, when we spotted Lola we were sharing a🍷 with a friend and said “Hold that thought” as we ran out of the restaurant to chase her down! We really need a disclaimer when meeting up with friends: Will Break (Away) for Senior Wieners. Lola was definitely worth it! Lo-Lo-Lo-Lo Lola! ❤️❤️

Lucky, 2 years old (l.), and Butter, 4 years old (r.) Our attempt to get their pic was almost derailed because they spotted their dad who was just getting home from work. 😂 Their mom came to the rescue with a treat though and we got the 📸 And a special shoutout to Lucky who celebrates his birthday in two days! 🎂🎂🎈🎈🎉🎉

Inspector Clouseau, 16.5 years old. It’s been a while since we did a where we feature a doxie mix! It’s no mystery what Inspector Clouseau is mixed with, though - his parents had his DNA done and he’s 50% doxie 🌭 and 50% poodle! 🐩 The Chief Inspector was rescued 13 years ago and has both a canine 🐶 and human 👶 sibling!

🎉🩷Ruby, 2 years old, TODAY! Happy Birthday to our sweet girl! You’ve brought so much happiness and joy into our lives in the 11 short months since we adopted you from . We hope all is forgiven for taking you to the vet for your annual 💉 💉 on the eve of your BIG DAY 🎉🎂 😬. And for having to hear that even though weight is just a number, that number needs to be a little smaller the next time the vet sees you! 🏋️ 🏃🏻‍♀️ 😂 We love you so much, Ruby, and we can’t wait to celebrate your first Gotcha Day next month!

Toulouse, 3.5 years old, of . Toulouse was adopted in November 2024 after being rescued by and her mom flew all the way to Florida to pick her up! Toulouse’s southern roots go deep as she is also named after a street in New Orleans. She is definitely a NYC girl now and we caught up with her at the Pup Pride Parade 🏳️‍🌈 at the end of June. When she’s not showing her allyship 🏳️‍🌈 at a Pride event, she’s living that Big Law (or should we say Little Law? 🤔 😂) life: Toulouse is a practicing ‘attorney at paw’🐾 - (and her mom pays the 🍪 bills being an ‘attorney at law’ ⚖️.) Great meeting you, Toulouse!
