Nitro is a big but gentle two-year-old cat who's had a rough time of it before arriving at the shelter. He had a nasty wound on his neck the day he arrived at the shelter. I'm sure it caused him more pain than we know, but throughout treatment, he never lashed out; he remained calm and sweet throughout it all. Now that the rough outdoor life is over and that he's recovered, he's ready to finally find the safe home where he belongs.

Nitro, despite is larger size, is a bit shy and tends to stay in cozy corners where he feels safe. You'll just need to give him the time and love he needs, and he'll learn to trust you.
