I had a wonderful and touching experience this evening. But it all started last Friday when I was at Mouthfuls. A woman came in and told one of my co-workers she wanted to talk to someone about photography. I got the word and approached the woman. She turned to me and was crying her eyes out. I didn't know what else to do other than to hold my arms out for a hug. She seemed glad for that. She then told me she just left the vets office with her dog and found out he is dying. She wanted me to photograph their last moments together. She text me yesterday saying he isn't doing good. And he is quickly going down hill. I arrived there this evening and it was heartbreaking to see her poor dog and the pain this woman is going through. I was able to offer her a lot of helpful words and comfort. And also photograph her and her sweet boy together. It was really hard and sad but also rewarding, knowing I could help bring her some closer when she lets him go.
It's never easy. Anyone that loves their pets more than words can say, know just how hard this truly is... My heart goes out to all that are suffering for the loss of a loved one (animal or human). Always cherish the wonderful memories with them. They will always be with you, forever! ❤
