Albert 🐾🌈

This afternoon I received the very sad news that gorgeous boy Albert has joined his friends at Rainbow Bridge.

Albert joined the GFF gang just over 4 years ago. If a dog could have the 'likability factor' Albert had it. Everyone liked Albert. He was the kind of dog who could immediately be anyones best friend. I don't think I heard a single grumble from him during his entire time with us.

He loved his walks - taking in so many sniffs with the busiest snout, bouncing around in the sunshine, paddling in the water, and of course true to his Beagle genetics he loved all the snacks. He would always want to say hello to strangers on walks just to check their pockets.

He had the silkiest ears and the chunkiest feet (that he never wanted wiped!)

I’ll always smile about his cheeky ways when I’d arrive to collect him, discovering that he’d broken out of the kitchen and was snoozing away upstairs on his owners bed, and having to walk him around both sides of the front garden hedge for him to p*e before he’d get in the van.

So many memories of a truly special doggy. Thinking of his family and thanking them for sharing their lovely boy with us. See you on the other side Albert 💕🐶

Spaces open for new doggies to join us on our group walk adventures on Mondays and Fridays 🤩🐶🐾 Other days may have ad-hoc availability depending on current clients changing schedules.

🙋‍♀️ Established in the area since 2013, DBS checked, insured, and canine first aid trained.

🌳 Our walks take place in local woodland and fields. I aim to provide fun and enriching walks with lots of interaction with both myself and the other dogs in the group, exploring the environment - jumping logs, running in open green spaces, searching for squirrels in the woods, swimming/paddling on warm days, play with toys where appropriate, time to just chill and sniff, and lots of fuss and a few treats when practicing our good behaviours 🤩

🚙 Dogs are picked up and transported in my professionally crated van before being dropped back home happy and tired.

🐶 Requirements: Dogs must enjoy the company of other dogs, have good recall (after initial lead walks) and a good understanding of basic commands, travel well, and be a minimum of 6 months old.
