Little Goliath

This has to be one of my favorite memories of the little guy. Fast asleep on my knees in the canoe. I think there's a rule, when a dog falls asleep on you, you can't move, so I didn't dare 😊

He always seemed to know he was safe in the canoe or kayak regardless of the conditions we were paddling in. I remember the first time we got into some bad conditions in the kayak when it was just the 2 of us. I was pretty freaked out due to my precious cargo, trying to get us closer to shore without spinning or tipping. We made it, and all the while he napped :)

Best paddle partner I could have asked for!

When the little guy was a wee puppy, he used to love playing with toilet paper rolls. It was adorable how he'd shove his nose into a roll and carry it around!

I still drop them on the floor out of habit until recycling day. And when the time comes to clean them up, I still cant help but leave one behind.

Mum gets memories from her Google app sometimes. I don't know what that means, but a couple years ago today, I was the king of the castle on my first balcony. It was cool. Mum was nervous though 😊

We have so many memories. 💜 I've been stumbling on pics I'd never posted before lately. This trip always made me laugh. It was a solo trip the 2 of us took to the backcountry in Killarney. I always let him roam free on the campsites, but this time I had to have him leashed. Just before this pic, I'd noticed birds circling us overhead. Fearing for the little guy, I ran to him and scooped him up as fast as I could. Lol, I screamed in the air at them, "Not today mother f #&$$*s!" They got the hint and left. But he was never far from me after that.


Little cutie had no idea what I was on about. He just wanted his dinner 😊

I really didn't want to post this today, but so many of you have asked how the little one is doing.

He fought so hard to stay with me... so hard. But it was taking it's toll on his old tired body.

Goliath passed this afternoon safe in my arms.

Run free little fella. I will miss you forever. Until we meet again. I love you always.

It's my birfday! Well... mum isnt actually sure, but it's her best guess 😁 So I'm 17!!!! I got lots of yummy treats today!
