Pishi the Teenage Rescue Mommy Cat Pishi is a young Persian cat found wandering in a parking lot in rural Ireland; she was already pregnant when found, she loves babies and has also adopted.

Pishi's human Daddy went to join her in the Otherworld suddenly on the 29th of Sept. He will also get a rock carn for his ashes in the back yard, along with his beloved Pishi and other kitties. The "Mommy Cat" (Melodi Grundy)and Hilde continue to watch over the living kitties and their friends.

I am sad to report that a week ago today Pishi left us for Freya's Hall. Her inoperable tumor burst open and there was nothing the vet could do so we spend her on her way. She is buried in a stone harrow with Riley beside her - she will be greatly missed.

MPR - rescue alert of the day - the missing piolet is a friend of a friend, I had no idea there was a rescue story connected to this tragic situation - the DOG IS FINE, he was ABOUT to be picked up and this man was on a mission to take him to his new home, but this brave and wonderful human and his plane is lost - prayers have been requested from the family - usually MPR is about cats, but sometimes we run stories of other animal rescues.

Update on Masaru's Transport:

We have some unfortunate news to share with you. Masaru was scheduled to be picked up by a Pilots N Paws pilot named Bill to transport him to Oklahoma City. However, Bill's plane was diverted off course southeast of Houston. It's been over six hours since we've last had contact with the plane. Currently, the Coast Guard is on the look-out. And just to clarify, Masaru was not on the plane and is safe with his foster in Texas.

This news has devastated all of us. But for Masaru's sake we're doing our best to stay strong. With your help, we'd like to start a prayer chain to surround all of Masaru's heros with love and positive energy, especially Bill and his family.
