Bowie is losing his best friend today. Mitzi is nearly 17 years old and is not doing well and we have decided it is time. Her appt is at 4pm here in Oklahoma. Bowie will be the only cat after today, for a little bit anyways. After our renovations we will get one or two more. Living in the country you definitely need a few cats for mouse control.

Bowie's new home is in Pawhuska Oklahoma and we are doing a full renovation. this is a sunroom we are reframing, which I'm sure will be Bowie's favorite room. The views are amazing. I'll post some pictures when it is all done.

The new house needs a major renovation. Matt and I have been doing the demo work and will eventually get some pictures posted. Here is a sneak peak at our view from the back of the house. The overgrown stuff in the foreground is a 3 acre pasture of ours. Our neighbor is gonna burn that when he burns his pastures in the next few weeks. Who knows what animals we will have in future.

It's pretty obvious Mitzi has hyperthyroidism 😳. She is 16 and so very skinny now, only about about 6 to 6 ½ lbs. She is still very active and playful. I know it won't be long before Bowie is an only cat and Mitzi is his best friend. We haven't told everybody yet, but we are selling our house and have bought a house on 5 acres in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma. We are surrounded by thousands of acres of pasture and hunting land. So once we move we may need to get another cat or two so we don't get field mice. We are excited to move and are just waiting for our house to sell. Our new place has a sunroom, which Bowie will love. Can't wait!!
