Sometimes, life brings unexpected turns, but the best stories have the happiest endings.

A few weeks ago, we shared the story of Piper, who found herself at Lee County Domestic Animal Services after the heartbreaking loss of her owner. Through it all, Piper remained a resilient, loving girl waiting for a second chance.

Today, that wait is officially over! Piper found her forever home where she will be cherished just as much as before. 🐾❤️ Thank you to our amazing animal rescue community!!!

Piper is a lovable and very sweet tuxedo girl whose mom died and ended up at lcas .
She was adopted by us and so returned to us by her chip.
As a foster I can say with 100% assurance that she is a great cat!

Sweet Annie is an 8 year old girl whose owner recently passed away. Her owners family is not interested in caring for her we have been told (biting tongue super hard here). Annie is looking for a loving forever LOVING home and/or emergency foster home to keep her out of a kill shelter.
