To all of my valued followers, it pains me to see how often people still make screenshots from the webshop images, even if there is a super-ugly watermark placed across the photo clearly stating screenshots and posting on socialmedia are NOT allowed.
How much more obvious do I need to make this already ugly watermark? Do people really overlook this? How?? Do people just think no one will notice if they post it? Or do they just don't care about intellectual property and copyrights? I'm baffled.
Yes, I sell my images for money. I try to keep a high image quality standard and have spent an enormous amount of time learning and gathering experience, and invested a lot of money in the right equipment for the job. Shooting thousands of images per day, selecting the best ones, and editing them to look as good as possible takes time. A 2-day show usually takes up to 40-45 hours of non-stop work, and that's all done in 3 days time. All next to a regular daytime job. I absolutely love doing it, but this is very impacting on your life.
Stealing these images from my webshop is just plain rude and very disrespectful, ignoring all the work and effort I've put into it. I really try to remain polite when contacting people who screenshot and post my images online but it's hard. Everyone who knows me, knows I never want to get rude myself but it takes a lot of self-control. Sorry if I ever did come across rude, but you've called it upon yourself by stealing my images. This is just NOT appreciated.
A major thanks to all of the people who ever notified me of this kind of misuse of my images!
