Parker's Adventures Parker will continue what Takoda started. He will continue to visit students to listen to stories and will start visiting nursing homes as soon as possible.

We had such a good time at Elderwood Assisted Living this afternoon! We love to see our friends! There were some visitors so we got to make new friends, too! We got lots of petting and had a nice talk with Jen, the activies facilitator! I couldn't understand why the babies wouldn't leave their chair to come play! Maybe next time.

We're camping! Mom and dad said this is the last camping for this year. It is Halloween at the campground this weekend. We helped decorate our camp site and then helped to hand out candy to the trick or treators! We've been having so much fun! Tonight we are having a campfire and are sitting on mom's and dad's lap to keep everyone nice and cozy!

We went to Elderwood Assisted Living this afternoon! I had my Halloween bow tie on and Mila had her Halloween bow on. Somehow her bow came off when we left, so it's lost. 😢 Mom will have to look for another one for her. Anyway, we had a terrific time there (like always)! Dad asked mom to sing a song with him and we helped, too. Mila kept trying to sing, so mom picked her up. I tried to get mom to pick me up, too, but she couldn't hold both of us at once. We made everyone laugh! We always end by singing Happy Birthday to everyone who has a birthday that month. This month we sang to two staff, me and mom! We love visiting everyone there! ❤️

It's a camping weekend! We've had a raining, damp time, so we haven't been outside a lot - mainly only for necessary walks. Today, though, we got to go to Cabela's in Hamburg, PA! We love going there. We got lots of pets from people and put a lot of smiles on their faces! We recieved a nice compliment on how quiet we were. Mom explained we know to be quiet when we're working. There were lots of other dogs there and everyone was friendly except for a pair of big dogs that were making rude remarks to us. We changed aisles pretty quickly! Mom and dad just had to take a picture of us at their fall display as we were leaving.

Assisted Living day today! We were very busy getting petted by everyone! Our friends were visited by rabbits and baby goats before we arrived. Thank goodness their hands weren't too tired to pet us! I love to look in the fireplace. There is a dog there that looks so much like me! Maybe someday he'll come out and play with us!

Today was Elderwood Assisted Living day! We were so excited to go to see the people! It almost didn't happen, though. On the way there the car was making a terrible noise that was getting worse and worse! Dad knew he had to get the car right to the repair shop so we stopped at Elderwood Assisted Living to tell them we had to cancel. Jen was worried about us, so she followed us and it was so good she did! Our tire fell off and decided to go rolling across the road! There was lots of screeching noises and Mila and I didn't like that! A nice man from a garage came and got us to his garage so he can fix our car. Jen took us back to Elderwood Assisted Living and we got to visit with our friends after all! Dad's brother was able to get us home when we were all done. We are very thankful for Jen, the garage man and Uncle Moosie and very thankful everyone is OK!!!

We're having fun at the Hickories in Owego listening to the music! It's been lightly raining on and off, but that's OK. We have a nice spot under a big old tree and it has kept us pretty dry! We met some nice people and got lots of pets! This is the last music in the park for this summer. We're so glad we were able to be here!

We had lots of fun yesterday! Agway was having a puppy day and we got to go! We met other dogs, including another Sheltie! We shopped in the store and mom and dad bought us puppy ice cream and a bag of blueberry treats! We waited until we got back home to eat the ice cream. It was delicious, just like having a party!

We went shopping at Cabela's in Hamburg, PA and had to get our picture in front of this USA sign! We love to go to Cabela's! They give free treats to good pups! We also got lots of love from people working there and from people shopping there! A couple of years ago we met a real live monkey there. There was no monkey this time. Oh, well, we had a great time anyway!

We went to Elderwood Assisted Living yesterday! We weren't able to go last month because of dad's medical stuff. They said they missed us and were very happy he was doing well. They gave dad a very nice card. It was so good to see them all again! Mom was too busy talking to everyone that she forgot to take lots of pictures. Next time she'll take more.
