Massive thankyou to Knitting for Australian Dog Rescue Groups for the absolutely gorgeous jumpers for my little naked babes and blankets and toys for the kitties. Stephen the chinese crested pictured here is in his element modelling his new outfits. Thank you to their dedicated team for always reaching out and making sure countless dogs and cats are kept warm ❤️

Merry Christmas to all from the Kiki’s safe haven crew! Big thank you to the animal rescues appeal (ARA) for the beautiful parcel of goodies sent to us for the dogs and cats they are enjoying it so much!

Massive thank you to for an amazing donation of food for the kiddos at Kiki's Safe haven! Lots of cat food which is like gold as the Kitty's for the first time outnumber the doggos and with all the medications they are on it so helps not to have to worry about good quality dry food for a bit. Here's old Moe posing with a bag hes looking forward to eating, even with no teeth he does well!

The tiniest of crumbs left this world last Saturday due to kidney failure. I've only just been able to write this. My heart is broken and she is so missed. My little shadow whose eyes followed me everywhere and showed true love.

She was in hospital for most of the week trying against the odds to flush through those little kidneys but she deteriorated as soon as off iv fluids. We spent the Saturday cuddling and making the most of the small amount of time we had left and she let me know she was ready at, nearly 15 her frail body was so tired. Thank you to Dr Emma and Dr Mon for looking after her ❤️

Fly free my little crumb bum whose fairy princess antics always made me smile. I will miss you for the rest of my life and look forward to holding you in my arms again one day ###

Busy as always here! Lots of happenings and changes.
We lost dear old Major Tom my 16 year old hyperthyroid kitty a few weeks ago. He let me know it was time and was sent off with dignity and much love. The cranky old man is very missed.

Harper the kitty with a broken and dislocated hip finished her crate rest, went back for new x-rays and had almost magically healed herself! She will suffer arthritis in her later years but that would happen anyway. Happiness is beyond the feeling!

Little old peanut had another neurological turn and had to have his pred increased for a short period of time but is back to normal now thankfully.

I have been struggling to control Morris's diabetes as he stabilises for a few week's then his blood glucose levels increase again and we need to up his insulin. He is now on 12 units of insulin morning and night. His eyesight has faded but he is still himself and hoping we are on the right track now.

Winston the old burmese kitty is now also on a small dose of pred every 2nd day for IBD. He is doing well and a gentleman as always.

Will update on the crumb bums again soon but everyone else is doing well. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yesterday I had to say goodbye to darling old Bea, she went downhill quickly and it was so tough. Our house feels her loss deeply as she was such a fiesty old girl and her happy dances at dinnertime and night time p*e patrols are so , so missed.
To a funny old dog I will miss you forever and love you always 💓💓💔

Pixie pie the hand-reared kitten had her desexing yesterday, here she is with the amazing Dr Aislinn going in and out of surgery like nothing happened. She made everyone laugh as she doesn't like to be carried.....she is a parrot kitty and only likes to be on your shoulder!

A bombshell in our home has recently hit and dear old Morris has been diagnosed with diabetes. One of the harder chronic illnesses to control,I now have to administer insulin twice daily to my old boy, we are still working on dosage but he is being very brave. ❤️
