It’s been an expensive week in rescue – and we’re reaching out to our amazing community to ask for your support. Our vet bills are climbing fast, and we need support to continue providing the care our cats rely on.
Here’s a look at just this past week:
🩺 Aphrodite had her annual exam, including booster vaccines and bloodwork – we’re happy to share that she’s healthy.
🦷 Birch underwent dental surgery, which included x-rays and six extractions.
💉 Charlotte and Wilbur received their third and final FVRCP and rabies vaccines — and they’re scheduled for their spay/neuter surgeries in early July.
This week's vet costs came to $2,581.04, bringing our outstanding balances to:
Glebe Pet Hospital: $3,032.36
Cumberland Veterinary Hospital: $1,888.32
And there’s more on the horizon – Ren has an upcoming urinalysis recheck and x-rays, and Nora is scheduled for an abdominal ultrasound, bloodwork, and urinalysis. Our original estimate of $4,000 for June is already looking conservative.
We’re asking for your support through our June 50/50 Fundraiser. For every $10 donation, you’ll receive 1 entry. Donate $25 and receive 3 entries. Half of the total funds raised will go directly to cover our veterinary expenses – the other half will go to one lucky winner!
