Gareth DeSantiago-Keene typed a letter from his home computer before mediation in Oct. 2013 and placed in his pocket. He told his client that the letter was to show the judge in Union Municipal Court that he could talk at the mediation hearing. During the grievance process, the woman was told that no lawyer was allowed in the mediation, therefore, the lawyer would have known that? Did lawyer lie again to client? Why did GDK type a letter? Did he give it to defendant? Why did he not show his client in "good faith" the letter that he typed?

Here is an attorney who should have made a difference in the case of the cat and the Vet. However, he took another path. He dropped his client without prejudice. He offered a room in his New Milford, New Jersey house, free room and board. He showed up at the mediation between his client and a woman from the Huck Finn Diner in Union, New Jersey who was harassing her. There were two other women who he invited in his house as well prior to him asking the woman mentioned in the document. He said that she was homeless, when she was not. He said that she yelled from the door, "What about my case?" He chose to use the word yell, but he is incorrect. The woman has a bleeding disorder which makes her hemoglobin very low and lethargic. She did not yell from the door, he sensationalized.

DeSantiago-Keene knew that he was not allowed in mediation hearing but he went anyways. The question is whose side was he on from the beginning? Was there early collusion with the Vet? The newspaper who refused to drop article online?

However, it was illegal for an attorney to be present, therefore; what did DeSantiago-Keene type in the letter? Did he give letter to defendant? Does former lawyer still have contact with defendant who was mentioned in harassment complaint filed by lawyer's former client.

Vets do not have malpractice just neglience. Judges in New Jersey only can proceed with malpractice. These neglient cases are dismissed. Know your rights as a pet owner.
