Tiny Paws Rabbit Rescue Tiny Paws is a volunteer run rescue and sanctuary which provides loving forever homes for rabbits Tiny Paws Rabbit Rescue is a Canadian Registered Charity.

We are a Foster Based Rabbit Rescue located in Windsor On, Canada. Our mission is to rescue domestic rabbits who are stray, abandoned, injured, abused, surrendered or otherwise needing care and attention from human assistance until they can be placed in suitable adoptive homes. Those who are deemed unadoptable due to medical needs are given sanctuary status and live out their lives in the rescue.

Our "Rabbit Wrangler" Volunteers are a dedicated group of individuals that assist to help capture stray and abandoned domestic rabbits. A stray rabbit is always in need of rescuing as they do not have the instincts to survive in the wild. We do not have a physical shelter and we rely on foster homes to help us rescue rabbits in need. We believe education is the key in the adoption process. We want our animals to be loved for their entire life throughout any lifetime changes which may occur. All adopters will fill out a questionnaire and go through an interview process to find the best match for our animals. We are always in need of foster homes, volunteers and sponsors to help us continue our mission to help domestic rabbits in need. Registered Canadian Charity

Adoption Announcement! 🐰🎉

We are happy to share that Cora has found her forever home!

Today, Cora is making the journey from Windsor to London with our amazing director, Kristina. There, she’ll meet her new mom before heading off to York. Her new home is where the best surprise awaits! Cora, now Mila, will be hoppily bonded to the adorable Lionhead Benjamin Bunny! 🐇💞🐇

Congrats to Cora and her new family! Thank you to her foster Lynn for caring for Cora.

A big thank you to Kristina for helping with transport. Kristina often travels between Windsor and London, and we’re always happy to coordinate with adopters in the GTA to help with the travel time.

Nugget is once again looking for a forever home. Through no fault of his own, his foster to adopt trial didn't work out and he is back up for adoption.

Nugget is a very big boy with lots of fluffy lionhead fur. He will need an adopter that will take the time to brush him regularly. Otherwise he will develop painful mats.

As for his personality, he's a real gem. He's very laid back, with excellent litter habits. He would make an excellent free roam bun.

He loves to hang out with cats and kittens in his foster home and would likely pair well with a spayed female or chill neutered male.

Nugget is up to date on his RHDV2 vaccine and is ready for adoption.

Harley had a sleepover with our friends at Walker Rd Animal Hospital last night.

Her foster Mom was quick to notice that Harley wasn't interested in eating, and a bit lethargic too. I advised her to head over to our local ER hospital to be examined.

Her awesome foster Mom Jessica, packed her up and headed out into the severe thunderstorm that was hitting our area.

Harley received some TLC from the veterinary staff, despite expressing her displeasure with all of the attention! Once she was feeling a bit better, she was discharged this afternoon. She's currently back with her sister Minnie and we hope that she will be on the mend very soon. Her foster Mom will continue with meds and critical care feedings until she is 100%.

We are often asked why our fosters need to have a driver's license. Well, it's for emergencies just like this.

Thank you to our monthly sponsors for your ongoing support. Your donations help us to provide exceptional care for our rescue rabbits whenever they may need it. 💜

Last Wednesday Blinx had her dental surgery to even out her molars and grind a couple of small spurs. She experiences frequent bouts of GI Stasis and I was hoping that her teeth might be the cause. Especially since she had a very small ulcer on the inside of her cheek from a sharp molar spur.

She was doing great in the days leading up to the surgery and had even gained weight. I had been offering her recovery food several times per day, which she happily devoured.

But, yesterday afternoon I noticed the tell tale signs that she wasn't feeling well again. I noticed some smaller poops and although she was still eating, she wasn't as eager to do so.
I started her stasis protocol and I have updated her vet.

The "blind babies" have had many health issues. Not only were they born without eyes, when spayed they were missing a uterine horn, one had a fluid filled uterus, they have tested positive for EC, and coccidia.

We have done blood work, x-rays, and fecals. I have consulted with experts and we don't have any answers.

GI Stasis is a symptom not a disease. We will continue to do our best to figure out why little Blinx has so many frequent episodes.
