My name is "Augie The Dog"..All my people just call me Augie for short. Cindy is my sponsor and guardian angel. Then I met Lori and Peter, MY PEOPLE.

I am a rescue that was found by the most wonderful group of people that saved me from the terrible life I was living....their name is Rescue Dogs Rock NYC. She and RDR comprised of many wonderful volunteers saw that I got the medical attention I needed if I were to live. I made my way up to New York and lived with Ann Marie for a few months who nursed me back. From the first time I met them , I kn

ew that I would be loved and taken care of for the rest of my live. I now get to spend my days between "The Studio" (what ever that means) but I know it is a great place where I meet lots of nice people, always smells good and have an extended family with Manny ,Charlie and Sharan. They always pat me on the head, rub my belly and comfort me when Peter has to go out. I also live in The City House" (whatever that means) which always smells good as well because Peter is always cooking and I get to spend lots of time in the" Country House" and "go in the car"where I get to explore the woods, have my paws on real grass, do my business in the lower 40 ( that's what Peter calls it). I spend lots of time there listening to great music that Peter says is very special because it is played on Vinyl through "Vintage Audio Equipment" ( what ever that means). Peter lets me listen to Led Zepplin and Jimi Hendrix who even though I don't know why they are called that, I still love them. Peter also takes me to the fire station where everyone calls me "Kickstand"and they are all really nice to me too. I still have some health issues that my people are doing their best to get me totally well but they say we have a long road ahead which is fine because I love long walks. Peter says he is going to continue to send my messages out to all our friends and I hope to one day meet all of you. For now ...that's it...WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
