I’m Lauren, the one behind the Pawesome Pups scene. After getting married in 2015 and all of the wedding planning was over, I needed something else to keep busy so I decided to dust off my late grandmother's sewing machine and turn my love for dogs into a hobby. Everything found here I hand made myself in my home with my Westie, Henry at my feet. I decided to make dog collars in fun prints you can

't find in big box stores. I received great feedback from the collars I created, so Pawesome Pups was born! The collars I make have fabric on BOTH sides for the ultimate comfort & style. I use thick, quality interfacing inside the cotton collar that reinforces the fabric to make the collar sturdy. All collars are made with contoured buckles that are curved to fit securely around your dog’s neck. Thank you for visiting, please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any requests or questions! Rehoboth Beach is going to the dogs! Mark your calendars for Bark on the Boards, an event celebrating our furry best friends. On Saturday, October 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Brandywine Valley SPCA will host a day of fun at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand, beach, and boardwalk.
You can expect a full lineup of activities for both humans and their four-legged companions, including a Dock Dogs dive competition, yoga with puppies, a pet costume contest, a vendor village, and live entertainment. It's a great opportunity to enjoy a beautiful day at the beach while supporting a wonderful cause.

✨ Hey friends, it’s been a while! ✨
I figured it was time to pop in and say hi and show the face behind all the collars, accessories, and wagging tails you see around here!

I’m Lauren, the one-woman show behind Pawesome Pups. What started as a little creative outlet has grown into a full-time dream — designing and handmaking dog collars and accessories that bring out every pup’s personality.

When I’m not sewing collars or snapping photos of Dewey Beach dogs, you can usually find me with my husband and our Westies, Henry & Piper (aka my “management team”), grabbing coffee, walking the beach, or setting up for another craft show somewhere along the coast.

Thanks for following along, supporting small, and letting me do what I love every single day 🫶🏻 Whether you’ve been here from the start or just stumbled upon my booth, I’m so happy you’re here!

Our Story

Hello! My name is Lauren Gardiner, I’m the owner, creator and designer of Pawesome Pups from Blue Anchor, NJ.

I turned my love for dogs into a hobby. After many failed in-store searches for unique dog collars for our Westie, Henry, I decided to try making a dog collar on my own and it was a s uccess! From there, I started making dog collars for friends and family and then Pawesome Pups was created!

I do all of the cutting, ironing and sewing myself - I promise you won’t find dog collars like Pawesome Pup’s collars in big box stores, all of our collars are made with love! And, if you haven’t noticed, Henry is the inspiration for my shop and the best Chief Collar Model around.

Pawesome [Paw-suh-m] – adjective: When a dog thinks something is awesome, using their paw as a seal of approval.
