moving day at the masters. first heavenly nap with poppa charlie on masters saturday. we'll also count this as chelsea's third year anny with the fam, nothing as peaceful as the old girl sleeping.

six years since y'all seen me in the flesh, i still have an eye on y'all, ready for action when called upon. i had to send my human two dogs to replace me, i didn't do well prequalifying them as runners, but what the heck, they have a warm bed and a nice yard. see ya in february.

on one of my last trips to visit my human's parents, i shared some nap time with his dad. the sofa may have been just outside my allowed roaming area (of course i could get onto it legally with my athleticism), but it sure looked cmfortable. we were two peas in a pod, working on our deep breathing while resting our eyes. now we are sofa buddies together forever, keeping an eye on all y'all.

okie!! my human spotted two (not one, but two) coyotes in the hood on his way to the lake this morning. this year has been a great one for critter sightings--big ol' bobcats, hoppers galore, the random snake and possum, ducks and ducklings, and big ol' turtles too. wildlife is the best life!

miss all y'all! my human (yep, he's still mine) was telling me how well chelsea is doing. he's had her almost two years, since the day das told him they were going to put her down due to overcrowding and 'overcorrecting.' at 14 years old? not this one. i sent him over to the shelter with specific instructions to bring her back home. voila! friendly as heck and even happier.

five years. still romping around the rainbow bridge and not an ounce of pain. boundless trails, streams, and fields of flowers to explore with my four legged friends. miss my human like he misses me, thanks to all you dog and cat people down there on earth for being someone special to someone kinda like me.

it doesn't seem like four years, so my human tells me. that may just be him telling himself his cranium is still active. while it is great playing up here and never getting sick, there are no great car rides and no more states to visit. i do have to keep an eye out for blockie, while the other one is on all y'all.

lucy, if you descend a really big hill early in your walk, when you start and finish in the same location, that altitude must be regained.

someone pleae tell lucy it is great to run for the sake of running. my human lets her decide where she wants to go on her excursions, sometimes she seems to have no sense of where she wants to go, or maybe why she is even out there.

happy fourth to all y'all! i never minded the noise, lucy seems the same, but this covid stuff has her still less than comfortable around humans. i was just picky, still am. except when it comes to brisket. get this covid stuff behind y'all, what is so complicated about a mask. it is like halloween every day!

lucy saw her first armadillo yesterday, so of course she wanted to go visit the same location again today. she is catching on to things slowly, i have left her clues, she may use more of them in time. for now, she likes walks more than runs, and other dogs more than humans.
