Ladybug is a beautiful soft-eyed Great Pyrenees, 2-3 years old. She came to rescue as a surrender, pregnant and heartworm positive from Southern Missouri where a neighbor was threatening to shoot her.
She is extremely gentle, patient and good with other dogs and cats. She’s great on leash and very friendly when approached by kids. She is a fully housebroken, couch loving, head on your lap sweetheart. One of her 2 pups is also available. She is being treated for the heartworms and doing really well. She loves watching over the back yard and taking naps. She is available through

The last of the Pyr puppies went home today! It was a joint effort between Pacific Animal Hospital and Dirks Fund. Five were adopted through Dirks and the other two went to PAH clients. Momma Jelly also has a forever home!
Thanks to Pacific Animal Hospital, Amber, and especially Josie for taking such good care of Jelly and her babies! Happy tails pups! 🥰

Looking for a loyal, loving best friend with a ginormous smile? Tony is a 3-year-old, 70-pound Anatolian Shepherd mix who’s been patiently waiting far too long for his forever home.

Tony is a gentle giant with a heart of gold. He adores people and has a magnetic personality that instantly wins over every human he meets. He lives for ear rubs, attention, long walks, and tasty treats – basically, he’s a big cuddlebug in a fluffy package!

He’s strong and still working on his leash manners, so he’ll do best with someone who can provide consistent guidance. He’d love a home with older children who can play with him, but he'd also be perfectly happy soaking up all the love as your one and only "baby."

💔 Tony’s only ask? No other pets. He prefers being the king of his castle, so he needs to be the only pet in the home.

This is Trooper, a 1-1/2 year old, 80 lb Great Pyrenees mix. He is fully vetted, neutered, chipped and on heartworm and flea/tick preventative. He knows a number of commands such as sit, stay, down , off, wait, place, come and leave it. He attended training for 6 weeks and loves to work on these commands at home. He is very motivated by tasty treats.
Trooper wants nothing more than to play with another dog, and he loves his people, so much so that he doesn’t like being alone at all. A crate will not hold him, and in his anxiety he has chewed up many objects. He is on Purina Calming Care and Fluoxetine for anxiety and still sometimes panics when left alone inside or outside.

Trooper needs a home with a consistent routine and people who are retired or work from home or can take him with them. He just wants to be with his people.

NOTE: Belle and Honor are both adopted.

We still have two 9 week old great Pyrenees mix puppies looking for homes. Belle and Honor, both females. They are not only adorable, but they have a head start on training and are very sociable.Their dna results are also posted. They’re great puppies! Adoption fee of $600 covers their vaccinations, microchip and spay surgery when they are old enough.

Nate was being fostered at a doggy daycare, and one of the staff members fell in love with him. Now, he gets to see all of his daycare friends on the regular, AND have a cozy home to spend his nights in ❤️ congratulations to Nate and his new Mom!

Introducing Jax! Jax is a 14 month Golden Retriever. His owner has health issues and needed to rehome him. He has a great disposition and needs some training. Unknown how he is with kids and cats. Seems to be okay with the other shelter dogs. He will be getting all of his vetting July 30. We predict he’s going to be popular.
