ADOPT GIGI! This beautiful, cuddly girl has been in foster with our Co-Founder Heather in NYC after being found abandoned and starving, but is ready for her furever home! Gigi LOVES her humans! (According to her foster ... "she is a massive cuddler and loves to be as close to her humans as possible"). She LOVES other dogs, has been to the dog park and is learning how to read other canine's "cues". She LOVES her daily walks, romps in the park, etc. She LOVES chew toys, bones, filled Kongs, ropes, etc. And she is VERY food motivated. Gigi is also great on car rides!
When she gets really excited her ears stand at attention, and she bunny hops when she plays with a dog she really likes and her zoomies are something to be seen at the dog park! She's also very good off-leash/on hikes and her recall is getting better by the day (with treats of course). And she she snores like an adorable old man.
Ideal home for Gigi? One that loves and cares for her of course, a home committed to her forever. A home that will give this active, young girl daily sufficient exercise to keep her happy and balanced. A home that will continue her training for she is still a very young dog. An adult only home or one with older kids is best given her exuberance. She would do fine with another dog or two (intros always necessary), but will do fine as solo as well. A quiet home, less urban than where she is now (East Village).
Gigi is about a year old and weighs about 50 lbs. She is UTD and spayed. She is house trained.
