The past two decades of my life have been devoted to getting better information out to owners, trainers and caregivers so that dogs struggling to become successful pets are provided with the best support possible to make that happen. I know, from first hand experience and conversations with caregivers, the frustration and heart break of trying to change behavior in a dog who has a portfolio of skill deficits.

Even with my experiential and educational background in helping these dogs, it's not easy. But we should at the very least, not make it any harder on us or the dog when we don't need to. Do it right. Do it right over and over again.
