Nala's New Life Rescue A 501(c)3 nonprofit in Palm City, FL animal rescue. WE ARE ALWAYS IN NEED OF FOSTERS AND MONETARY DONATIONS!

Nala was a life long companion and friend whose brave fight against bone cancer inspired me to re-name my rescue in honor of her. Nala's New Life Rescue has been saving dogs for years who have no other hope. We have a true "no kill policy" and save dogs who need rescued regardless of age, breed or health issues. We specialize in saving unwanted dogs (and cats) from kill shelters all over Florida w

ho otherwise would be euthanized or gassed, Nala's New Life Rescue pays to pull the dogs to safety, cover all medical and transportation expenses and provides a safe foster home or boarding facility until a foster or forever home is approved. All of our animals have a full veterinary examination, vaccinations and are spayed or neutered. We care for them until they are emotionally and or physically healed or a home becomes available. Nala’s New Life Rescue has saved and placed over 150 dogs in new homes in 2016. Nala's New Life Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

🌟Please help Blondie🌟

Yesterday, our beloved 6-year-old rescue, Blondie, underwent emergency surgery to remove her spleen. Without it, she would not have survived. Thanks to swift action and incredible veterinary care, the procedure was successful and Blondie is now on the road to recovery. 💛

We posted twice asking for help and have raised $1,500 of the $2,500 needed—but time ran out, and we couldn’t wait. So we made the call to save Blondie’s life.

Now we’re facing a painful reality: if we cannot raise the remaining $1,000, Nala’s New Life Rescue will be forced to pause future rescues—dogs and cats who still need us—until we can cover the cost.

Our devoted volunteers have already stepped up and donated. Now we turn to our extended rescue family—adopters, friends, and supporters who believe in second chances.

🙏 Can you help us close the gap for Blondie and ensure we don’t have to turn away the next life in need?

Every dollar helps. Every share spreads the word. And every act of kindness keeps hope alive.

💖 Donate here: www.nalasrescue.org or on Facebook

Thank you for standing with us. And thank you for standing with Blondie.

🐾 Adoption Announcement! 🐾

We’re overjoyed to share that sweet Leo (pictured left) has found his forever family! 💙

Leo came to Nala’s New Life Rescue as an 8-month-old puppy in need of help—he was facing two surgeries for his cherry eyes. Thanks to the incredible skill and compassion of Dr. Mary Bressman, Leo received the care he needed. And a huge heartfelt thank you to foster mom Jane for being Leo’s safe haven during recovery. Jane showered him with love, helped him learn to trust, and guided him gently back to health. ❤️

Now Leo is living his best life with Paul, Tanya, and his new pup brother Gizmo! He has a big fenced yard for zoomies galore and a family who’s always around to give him the love and attention he deserves.

Here’s to a beautiful beginning and many joyful years ahead. 🐶🎉 We love you, Leo! 💫

Congratulations to Kendall on her adoption! This gentle girl was one of the lucky dogs rescued from Okeechobee Animal Control by Nala's a couple weeks ago. She was transported to Darbster in NH and now has found her forever home. She was a pleasure to have
at our ranch while she was waiting for transport and Nala's is happy to have been part of her journey to find her person. We wish Kendall and her mom years of happiness

🐾 Help Us Cross the Finish Line for Blondie! 🐾

Blondie needs us—all of us. This resilient pup has already overcome more than most dogs ever face: after being gored by a hog, she endured three surgeries and came through with a tail-wagging spirit that melts hearts. Now, her life hangs in the balance again… 💔

She’s been diagnosed with an enlarged spleen that must be removed ASAP. The good news? Blondie is otherwise healthy and has every chance of a full recovery—but only if we can raise the $2,500 needed for her surgery and imaging.

Thanks to some amazing supporters, we've raised about $500, but we're still $2,000 short. Blondie is only 6 years old and deserves a long, joyful life in a loving home. We’re so close—can you help us get there?

🎁 Donations can be made right here on Facebook or at www.nalasrescue.org - All donations are tax-deductible

🙏 Whether you give, share, or simply send prayers, you’re helping save Blondie’s life. Let's show this brave girl that her journey leads to hope, healing, and maybe even the perfect forever home. Yes, Blondie is available for adoption too!

🐶 She hasn’t given up—and neither will we.

Can you help save Blondie? She is a sweet girl who has been at Nala's for a few years and she was just diagnosed with an enlarged spleen that must be removed asap to save her life. Dr. Mary Bressman completed all the other tests, which show Blondie is otherwise healthy and should have a complete recovery if we can raise the money for her surgery. Blondie is only 6 years old and she was rescued from Okeechobee Animal Control by Nala's 3 years ago. Blondie unfortunately was gored by a hog and needed 3 surgeries once we rescued her but she is all healed and is now a normal, lovable dog. This brave girl has been through so much we cannot give up on her now. Thank you in advance to anyone who can donate to save Blondie. By the way, Blondie is available for adoption.
Donations are gratefully accepted on Facebook or on our website at www.nalasrescue.org

Maggie is a 10 month old beautiful female Silver Tabby who is patiently waiting for a home to call her own. She has a very unique coat and she is very cuddly and sweet. Maggie was rescued from Okeechobee and she currently lives with other cats and a dog in one of our foster homes. She is also fine with other dogs visiting the foster home where she is located. Maggie is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and has a very submissive personality.
Would you consider adopting Maggie? Please apply on our website at www.nalasrescue.org

Nala's is pleased to welcome Nova to our rescue. Nova is a beautiful 3 year old female Catahoula Leopard mix and she is great with other dogs, cats and people. She weighs 55 pounds and is housebroken. This sweet girl has a heart of gold and is very gentle and loving. Nova was surrendered when her family could no longer care for her and now she is looking for another family to love her. Nova loves to run and play and would do best with another dog and a fenced yard.

Adoption Process and fees

When you first contact us to adopt a dog, you will be asked to fill out and submit an application on our website at nalasrescue.org/adoption-application

The application will be reviewed by the members of our adoption committee to ensure that the family will be able to match the dog or cat’s needs, and that we can move forward to a safe and happy adoption. The first thing we do after receiving an application is to check vet references (if available) and personal references (if there is no vet reference).

If the references check out, you will be contacted for a meet and greet with the dog or cat you applied for. Please come with an open mind. You might meet more dogs and cats, and who knows where the perfect connection will be?

If the meet and greet goes well, we then conduct a home visit with all your household members, humans and pets, and if the home visit goes well, we’ll be ready to finalize the adoption.
