His story, since we've known him, has been one of rags to riches. He's seen a lot over the years.

Send-offs are always bittersweet, but sweet Bonnie girl has a purpose to fulfill in another pasture.
Tonight, she gets to look up at the sky and see all the stars in Oklahoma (and we'll know that we're under those same beautiful stars just across the state line... not so far away).

Ah, The beauty of this liberty jar and it's contents of completely natural, fresh, and unprocessed milk!
It contains a wide variety of essential nutrients, fats, proteins, anti-inflammatory and digestive enzymes, bioavailable vitamins, and minerals, all in a natural form which is most easily utilized by the body. In addition, the raw milk facilitates production of lactase enzyme in the intestinal tract, allowing many people who are lactose intolerant to digest raw milk with no problems.
There's just something special and rewarding about filling these jars, knowing where the milk comes from directly and how beneficial it can be.

Today was a Pearloosa Pantry kind of day!

💚 how fortunate are we to live in abundance?
💚 how fortunate are we to have women who have passed down recipes that remain unwritten?
💚how fortunate are we to daydream?

We're considering offering some Farmstand Fridays in the near future, offering our homemade, farm fresh items available for local pickup.

Deiscirt Cross BA Katie Mae hopped out of the trailer and on to the milking stand, joining our Galla'Herd mini lamancha line up. This cou clair doe has a voice like Froggy from The Little Rascals but is a thousand times prettier! She keeps us smiling and keeps a close eye on everything & everyone around. We are certain she may very well be "that" lady in the neighborhood.

Thank you, Shady Oaks Farms, for giving us the opportunity to bring home such an American beauty.

Q: What was in the trailer?
Answer #1: The Staghorn Buck!

MDGA Content Valley's Staghorn, better known as "Stag," joined our pasture yesterday and we are so happy to have him.

You may remember Stag from back in the fall-- he stayed on our girls' mind too! They liked him so much we decided to make him into a herd husband!
That's right, cue the wedding bells (& ignore the polygamy). Congratulations are in order! There may have been some knocking up in the early days, but he's here to make honest women out of them now!
