WOW, the Universe is really speaking to me right now. I've been super stressed lately and feeling guilty of I took time for me. Not anymore! I Deserve to take time for me. Self care is the most important thing. It must come first. I neglected this and my body tested my getting very sick for over 2 weeks. Today I reclaim my peace.

There's a reason I've been MIA. Holistic Hippo is participating in the Long Beach Pet Fair this weekend and I have been busy making fresh new products for your pets. It's tough surviving as an independent small business, but yours and my pets health is important to me, so it's worth the struggle. Please come out and support not only myself, but the other small pet businesses that will be there. It's also a great time to adopt a pet if you've been wanting to do that.
I will have all natural, holistic products hand made by me, myself, and I. Various options of natural flea control, cbd oil, healing ointments, doggy soap, and my energy healing services will all be on sale. If you've ever wondered what exactly Holistic Hippo is all about, this is the time to find out. Plus, as an added bonus for the humans, I'll be offering a quick chakra balancing. Yes, I make my dogs food from scratch. Takes awhile, but it's worth it. I make in bulk and freeze in bags. Each bag is approx 7-9 days worth of food for my 2 pups so a large batch is a 6-7 week supply. I stay mostly consistent with ingredients, but sometimes make a substitution here or there.

This batch:
9 lbs ground beef, 1 lb ground turkey, 6 cups brown rice, 4 cups white rice, 4 12 oz bags broccoli slaw, 16 oz frozen peas, 16 oz frozen green beans, 2 cups fresh pumpkin puree, 64 oz plain yogurt, 2 tbsp finely ground eggshells (for minerals) and chia seed, 7 apples (no seeds). Mixed up by hand in a giant container which the dogs get to lick after. Lol

The dogs get a good healthy meal with limited filler (the white rice).
