Throwback Thursday. This was China's 18th Birthday (today would be her 26th). It was her last one. 😢 Turkey was her favorite thing so we made a big turkey dinner just so she could have some. Although she has been gone almost 7 1/2 years now, we still think of her all the time and remember all the great times we had with her. Miss you baby girl. Love mommy and daddy. ❤ ❤

Today would have been China’s 25th Birthday!!! She was the best kitty. She was such a big lover girl. She loved affection, very outgoing, well behaved and made us laugh. She could always put a smile on our faces, no matter how bad a day we were having. We have such great memories of the 16 years we shared with her.

The best gifts are the ones with our sweet China on them. This year a keepsake box. Love it.

This video popped up in our memories today. It is from China's last birthday. She loved turkey so much. We made a whole turkey dinner for her birthday just so she could have some turkey. It is so cute how she stretches out her arms to get some. This may be our favorite video of her.

Today would have been China’s 24th Birthday. Even though she has been gone for a while now, we still celebrate all her special days. We still love her and miss her tremendously and reminisce about her often. The cake picture with the pink mouse is one of the first birthday cakes we made for her. Her favorite toy at the time was fuzzy mice.

Today marks the 21st anniversary of when we brought China home from the shelter. Of the 13 cats and 2 dogs our family has adopted from that shelter, each of them is loved dearly. The day China joined our family was one of the happiest days of our lives. She brought so much joy to us and will live in our hearts forever. She was kind of shy when she first came but quickly knew she could trust us. Although she could not speak the words, she showed us every day how much she loved us. And she knew how much we loved her too. China loved to be around us all the time and we were glad to hang out with her. She still means so much to us, that to this day, we still celebrate all the special days of her life.
