Here at the home headquarters we do food right! Homemade meal topper for mommas 4 babies.
Broccoli 🥦
Brussel sprouts 🌱
Carrots 🥕
Sweet potato 🍠
Kale 🥬
Peas 🫛
Green beans ✅
Blueberries 🫐
ground beef 🥩
Fresh home grown sweet basil 🌿
Turmeric ✅
Parsley 🌿

All veggies chopped super fine & cooked down to make veggies super soft and easily digestible! It may seem counterproductive, as dry kibble isn’t the healthiest we can give them, as it lacks so many great nutrients.
So momma gives them all that in this food topper! I love spoiling them this way and I think it gives me as much joy as it does them. 😊
To boot the broth whips up a mean gravy that I thicken with some cornstarch and I stir into each container making it go farther. What you see here is 7 weeks of food topper for some very high maintenance pooches 😆
The counter surfing isn’t typically allowed, but for picture purposes we allowed it. However, you can see to get all four to look at a camera is a task! 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️

I would like to introduce Dug, a brown and white sweet male, and Poppy, a black and white precious female, two remarkable fur baby companions in need of rehoming. Both dogs are approximately 5 years old, neutered, and spayed. Their current owner, who rescued them as puppies, has grown deeply attached to them; however, due to unforeseen circumstances, she is faced with the difficult decision to part with them. 😭 It is essential to note that these dogs have been together since puppyhood, and separating them would likely cause significant distress. Fortunately, they are well-behaved around other dogs and children. The ideal situation would be to find a new home where they can stay together as they have been together as babies. Separating them just seems cruel as I’m sure they would long for each other. I am reaching out to prospective pet owners to consider adopting these exceptional dogs. I board them regularly and can vouch for how remarkable they are! They are trained and behave well. The owner is seeking a new home for them by June 1 and prefers not to have them sent to a shelter. Remember, not all dogs that need rehoming come from people who grow weary of them. This owner is heartbroken to see them go, but again, she has no choice. Dug is approximately 40 lbs and Poppy all of 50 pounds. Please ADOPT Dug and Poppy! You won’t regret it!!!

Over the past several weeks, we have been visited by some remarkable precious, canine companions, allowing us to capture high-quality images of them. We greatly appreciate the affectionate nature of our furry friends and customers who trust us with their care as they reside with us at the Palace. Dogs are indeed treasured creations of Gods handiwork.

Hello Barkingham Palace friends & customers! We are ramping up with our busy season so I have some requests to ask so that I can be my best to care for your precious babies.

1. Starting Monday March 16th, I will close for lunch from noon until 1 PM. No pick ups or drop off allowed at this time. I’m sorry if that’s an inconvenience, but I have to get a lunch in so I have the energy and stamina to keep up in the kennels! I know you all understand 😉

2. Please CALL for a booking. Text have become overwhelming and I DO NOT want to loose you in the shuffle! Should you get my voicemail, please leave a message and I WILL call you back.

3. No calls will be answered before 8:30 AM or after 6 PM on business days during the week, or Saturdays, no calls before 10 AM and after 4 PM. NO CALLS ARE ALLOWED ON SUNDAYS! It ties me to my phone constantly, and for my own sanity and health I must have some down time, as I’m the main caregiver to your pups. Again, I need to be whole and rested for them to get the best care possible.

5. The only texting I will allow is me sending updates on your dogs and your reply’s. I love to update you and give you that peace of mind that your dogs are in the best place, getting the best care! Again, no appointments accepted by texts any longer.

6. You may still text me your eta when dropping off and picking up as it’s so helpful to make sure all dogs on property are secure and put up, including my own.

I know you all will understand me implementing these rules so that I can be all I can be for your fur babies. I’ve sacrificed myself to the point its affected my health and so I must put these rules in place.

For all our regular customers, your dogs are like family as are you! I appreciate your understanding and your trust in me caring for your pooches so much!

Barkingham Palace has RETAIL! For all our wonderful customers who ask where we get our products from so they too can purchase, it’s here! We’ve yet to meet someone who just didn’t LOVE how their fur babies smell and feel upon pickup and for days to come. We use the finest products made by DAVIS Manufacturing. A company that knows pets! We offer multiple scents from holiday to everyday. Each product we sell is specially formulated to be gentle on your pets skin, but tough on dirt and grime. We plan to introduce new products and create an online store to fill your orders for shipment or pickup in the future! Please be patient as we transition into this. Meet Grady and Duke! Both newly rescued from not so great circumstances, but have been adopted by the most precious of families. It’s crazy how instant the attachment is to a dog that you know needs all the love he can get. My empathy runs deep. Last night I was walking back down to the house after my last kennel let outs, I had just put Grady to bed and my sweet Duke went home for the day. I looked up and said, “God, do these dogs suffer as a result of our sin? Did we do that to them?”
The answer is, yes! Yes as a result of mankind’s sin, we as humans are the result of everything that was made perfect, including animals, for the fall. We set the tone for suffering and imperfections by allowing sin to enter our world. God had it all perfectly perfect!
I then said, “God, I’m sorry 😢 they didn’t deserve that.”

It’s crazy where my mind goes sometimes. The crazy dog lady you could say, feels so deeply for all these dogs that aren’t even mine. Especially those rescues! I’m honored that in their short time with their new beautiful families that I was chosen to be their caregiver and show them too, that the world isn’t all bad, despite the life they knew before. You see with rescues it takes time to develop a bond and trust. They have been in situations we could never understand. So to be chosen as the one to help nurture them into feeling they are safe and secure, along with fully loved, it just blesses my soul. My job as a kennel owner and operator is hard and not for everyone for sure, but for me, it’s a joy! It’s puppy dog wagging tails, kisses and hugs and lots of pets. It’s me calling them all out individually by name at night and telling them I love them and that their parents will be back soon for them. As I turn down the lights for the very last time at night, I reassure them all, “I’ll see you in the morning guys!”
Barkingham Palace is by far not my job, it’s my calling.
