Yesterday was human’s birthday. And since she is out of town, I decided to have a party! Okay so maybe it wasn’t a party and it was just a trip to the vet where a large amount of money was spent.

Humans and mouse toy are in NYC to celebrate her birthday. So that means I get to hang out with Human’s brother. I am having fun. Except for when I had to wake up to get off his lap. Then he got this face.

Maintenance was over today working on something and saw my law book, and me as I was sitting on it at the time.
And said “oh is that his little throne?”

Then human said “No, that is his constitutional law book. He likes to eat his treats there. His law friends gave him that book.”

Apparently this is not a normal occurrence and the maintenance looked very very confused.

Friends I have a problem.

I am not allowed to make any more art until I do something with all the art I currently have. Which is not fair. When I do art, I get to have lots of churu. It’s what I need. But the art drawer is full even after giving away lots to the UD law grads.

So I was wondering if anyone would want some art or maybe do a trade with me? Unfortunately because it’s on canvas I can’t mail it first class, it has to go priority, but if you cover the cost of shipping human is happy to mail it to you! It would cost around $14 (maybe a little less depending on the size of packaging for the art)

So in exchange for art perhaps I could get some churu or purr pops? I think that is a good trade for art! (Plus shipping) what do you think? You could mail me treats, or human could tell you how much my favorite treats are and you could send that amount if you like!

I don’t need to be a paid artist, I am just looking for ways to get treats!

If you can’t afford to pay the cost of shipping but would still like some art from me, I have some very tiny arts that are laminated that I could just put in a regular envelope and mail to you! Just let me know!

Friends I am feeling much better!

Yesterday Tall Human took me back to the vet. Let us take a moment to commend Human’s bravery in releasing control and allowing Tall Human to go by himself. She did insist on calling into the appointment. 😹

But she stayed home so she could rest. She does not like to give up control. So I might need to get her an award or something. 🏆

Anyway, I got to see Dr. Nikki this time. I often see Dr. Joe, but also really like his wife Dr. Nikki. They are a great team and love me so much.

Good news my thyroid numbers look really good. Enough so that we are going to try a reduction in the thyroid meds that are making mencobstipated. We are also going to try a slight increase in my megacolon meds and reevaluate in a month.

I had to get another e***a, but they got alllllllll the p**p in my body out. It was 7 p**ps. Which is al lot.

Megacolon is just a tough disease to manage, and things like this can happen, which makes human very sad. But we have a vet practice that we love. And they are very patient with Human and her 10,000 questions. Every.single.appointment

Human may have told them before that they are the 2nd most important thing in her life.

The order of importance is
me at the top,
then Dr Joe and Dr Nikki,
then Tall Human.
In that order. She loves Tall Human very much, but he knows where he ranks in level of importance. 😽

I am sure I might still face some setbacks as we learn manage hyperthyroidism, but we are truly so very grateful to Mad River Veterinary Hospital. And I am so grateful to have the humans that I have. I did a very good job when I chose them at the cat café.

So I realize I am behind on updates on Facebook. I had shared my instagram stories a few days ago, but it just went to human’s personal facebook and not mine.

So life catch up. I am newly diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. We caught it super early. Not really any signs, just routine lab work for a dental cleaning I was supposed to have. So that is very good. But I am struggling with the medicine. It’s just really hard on my GI tract. At first I was puking a bunch. Got that under control but it’s made my previously well under control megacolon, not under control. Meaning needing e***as at home and the vet. It’s been super stressful for me, but maybe more so for human. We are working with out vets closely.

This past week Human had sinus surgery and I was pretty stressed about that so it made my litter box issues worse. Tall human had to take me to the vet BY HIMSELF (human is supposed to be the one that takes me ONLY HER) the next day. I met a new vet in our practice who was very nice. I had more e***as, X-rays, and some meds to feel better.

Human and I are both recovering from a stressful and expensive week. I go back tomorrow to get some lab work for my thyroid to see how it’s going and if I we can maybe go down on the medicine.

A few weeks ago human’s friends were in town for a visit, and that meant I also got to see my favorite small human. We had a pretty amazing day! I wish they lived closer so we could see them all the time! 😽
